Yeah, it's still bugged. It is using
City
for piercing and cutting defense. Should be this:
CityTrainingBonus
Here are some screenshots of how this bug looks on my end: As you can see, the Tooltip shows the correct amount. The City Details themselves, however, show 4 Mana less. This would be correct, if the city had an Essence-value of 0. The Tooltip for the Resource Bar shows the correct amount of Mana granted per turn, but the value for the city is still wrong. As soon as the next turn begins, the value for the city will be corrected. If you then
Here is how it looks for me: Edit: Here is the savegame . Farcross is one turn away from finishing it's Workshop. As soon
When Henchmen and Scions are trained in a Fortress, they are not getting new traits for starting at level 2+. This is especially bad, if they start at level 4, because they are then unable to choose a Path.
Works fine for me, anyone else seeing this?
It worked in previous games, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't show up anymore. I'm currently playing as Relias. The only thing different to before is, that I had two random events. First "Revelry" (not sure, if that really worked) and then a "Riddler" quest. The quest location (reward: a tamed Skath mount) is using the same icon as the Workshop.
Fixed thanks (staves dont get bash, but i've added it to everything else).
Thanks! I was getting the impression, that this was the case. By the way, would it be possible to rename the ranged staffs to wands? That way it would be easier to differentiate between them and the melee staffs.
The Workshop is no longer showing it's icon on the Clothmap after the construction is finished.
Please, take another look. You should now be able to build the Theatre of the Wind in one of your cities. If not, then it is definitely a bug.
Still the case in 0.980. Is this intentional?
The tech Higher Education is showing the Academy improvement as one of it's unlockables. However, the Academy is a level-up improvement for Conclaves.
I can confirm, that Forge and Blacksmith is bugged. They are currently using this line of code for the Piercing and Cutting bonus:
City
Should be this:
CityTrainingBonus

Did you try hitting end turn again and then seeing if it corrected themselves>>
I did. In the turn Temple of Essence was finished, I received 4 Mana (2 from the Sov and 2 from the Temple). From the next turn on, I received only the 2 from the Sov. Plus, the City Details and the Resource-Bar showed no longer any Mana-income from the city. The Tooltip in the City Details, however, still showed 2 Mana being produced. After buildi
Fixed, thanks.
I was finally able to finish constructing an Alchemy Lab and can confirm, that the Tooltip is now correct. Thanks! However, the amount of Materials granted is now bugged in the same way as I described in this thread .
The Watchtower improvement doesn't apply the initiative bonus for defenders during combat, nor is the bonus shown in the city details like the other bonuses. I had a look in the xml and think I found the likely culprit. This is how the code is currently written:
CityTrainingBonus AdjustDefendingUnit
This is how it probably should be:
<ModTyp
Update: Bug is still in 0.951. However, I noticed a difference in the way the bug behaved when I build an Alchemist. Previously, I would have gotten only 2 Mana and Research, if the city had 2 Essence or more. Now, I got 3 Mana and Research, in a city with 4 Essence (2 base and +2 from Oracle and Scrying Pool). Temple of Essence, however, still only provides 1 Mana in a 2+ Essence city.
Updated thread-title to reflect, that the bug is still in 0.951.
As the title says, the Warrior Temple has lost the ability to grant stationed units XP per season, but the description still mentions it. Plus, it also grants now the Enmity trait to trained units, which the description doesn't mention at all.
Updated the thread title, to reflect that this bug is still in 0.951 and also affects the Blacksmith improvement.
Well roads are still being auto generated which I am pretty sure that was the way they always intended. There seems to be no way to build roads.
The Road Building ability is a trait your Governors can get on level-up. They don't get it automatically when choosing Path of the Governor. Plus, there are the Mancer Pioneers, but you have to use a custom faction to be able to use them.
Great list! [e digicons][/e] [Edit] Why is the Road Building ability Mancer only? Capitar is no longer in the game, except as custom faction.
Hi Das123, I finally wanted to thank you for your Let's Plays. They are the reason why I joined up during Beta 3 and see the changes made since WoM for myself. I still can't believe, that I'm getting this game for free. Also, I agree with UmbralAngel. Magnar scammed you.
You wouldn't be using a custom hero from a previous beta version, would you? If yes, please remake him/her with the current version and see if that helps. Also, you shouldn't need to research the techs anymore, as the quests are now unlocked from the start.
re: Quests. I think in the description for Breon's Letter (or the one for lvl 7 champions)- the description implies that you need to complete this research to start the Epic Quests that fulfills the game's victory conditions.
You no longer need to reseach the techs to unlock the quests since this beta version. The descriptions of many techs and buildings have just not yet been updated to reflect the changes made to them,
