A reboot is when you scrap everything and start over. They call them remakes, but they are actually reboots. And they'
I've come to the conclusion that I no longer want remakes. Just a couple of years ago, I constantly thought that "I want a remake of Deus Ex " and "I want a remake of Baldur's Gate " - things like that. But the industry is so different now and everyone that owns those names are apparently blatantly incompetent, with no understanding of what made those games awesome, or how to recreate them. It seems like the developers haven't even pla
OH GOD WHY OH WHY CAN'T THEY STOP RUINING MY FAVOURITE SERIES!? WHY?! ;__;
I will only endorse this game if it is historically accurate. I demand witch burnings and rape.

Overall I like the change, but I'm not a fan of the yellowish text on the brown/greenish-yellowish-darkish background. I'd prefer plain white text (like in the quote boxes).
While I don't really have much of a problem editing .xml-files, not having a proper in-game/workshop faction builder would suck ass . Poking at the .xml's is something I do to tune or edit my factions beyond the basics, I'd truly hate to create factions from scratch. There's a reason I'm not a programmer or part of mod teams. It's not because I can't learn to muck about in various codes, but because I'm consistently bored out of my skull doing so. Edit:
By the gods, all this black is making me depressed! It also looks awesome ! I'm not sure why, though, but it feels blurred somehow and I'm getting a slight headache after less than 5 minutes. Could be psychosomatic, though. Or possibly the grey-on-black text. Perhaps whiten it a bit? Edit: Oh godammit, I just realized that all my bordered avatars are ruined. Goddamn.

All kinds of auras. Auras affect the character with the aura and every adjacent ally. Multiple auras that overlap stack in range and have an overlapping stack of effect. I realize this is a "convoluted" mechanic, but since it can be applied to a wide array of skills once coded, it may be worth it. Let me paint a picture of what I mean with "stack in range" and "overlapping stack of effect". Single aura: Red is a character, blue is range of aura(s), yellow are areas in which th

OP, I feel for you. I used to work this crazy job with crazy hours that sometimes didn't let me do "basic" stuff such as visiting the bank for days at a time. I can't get things to work at all. Only the Map Editor and the Tile Editor shows up and when I try to run them, I get a black screen that hangs. I'm going to try to reinstall everything before I start crying, though. :'( Props on how amazingly awesome Impulse:Reactor and the Mod upload/download looks, though. I was taken aback by how delightfully Elementalesque it all looked when I opened it up. It helps that I have an awesome avatar fit for the job. :p
Monsters should be split up into several different factions, with different behaviours. At the very least, I can think of Animals, Monsters, Intelligent Monsters, Humanoid. Out of them, only Humanoids should attack and conquer cities, for example. Animals would usually avoid combat unless provoked and stay away from cities. Stuff like that.

Themes, names; Kona, Draginol, Altar, Elemental, etc. But story-wise, there is no apparent relation. Compare it to how Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40,000 relates - compare Orks to Orcs. Basically identical creatures with identical names and identical characteristics. They relate. But they don't canon
