There was lots of discussions about it, and people were really believing that race was pandas :)[/quote]Hmm.. Half-Men/Half-Pandas would make for one hell of a Fallen racial grouping. :D

There is 'essense' that your Channeler gains/unlocks as he/she levels up (or gains on quests). This essense is finite. It is used for buffing your Channeler, buffing your servants/buildings/items, and possibly for buffing spells (or for casting unique spells). [...]</st

By this I don't mean the magical equivalent to a nuke but just the tension created by the cold war with the East vs West arms race. It would be cool if there was some technology that could be used as a deterrent against world war type situations and that other smaller less advance

If everyday spells cost essence (which, from what I understand, is a resource that is gone for good when you use some of it) Then It seems like people who want a channeler that is as powerful as possible will not hardly ever cast spells....which seems counter-intuitive to me. Now this depends on how you get more essence, as they haven't specified that yet (pressumably you more essence each time you level up or so

I think that when they say that there are two tech trees, I don't think they mean that the Magic Tree will have actual techs. I think that they just mean that spells will be researched seperately. Which makes total sense, now that I've thought of it. My point is that you won't be seeing the "Construct Magic Forge" tech in the Magic Tech Tree. You'll be seeing it in the Mundane Tech Tree. I think the Magic Tech Tree will be confined to Fireball, Ice Age, Imbue Steamtank, Luckm

I guess you all have seen this screenie: https://www.elementalgame.com/Screenshots/Empire_Fire_Shard_1280.jpg Don't you think this might be a source of essence?
