Don't joke about that. There actually IS a "File Downloaded is Larger Than Expected"-error, afaik. :D

Uncheck "Show pre-release versions" in settings. The reason you are getting this is because since you hav
Ah. Thanks a lot. That's right; I do have Pre-release versions showing up. I'll try this a little bit later and check back. :) Edit: Worked as a charm. Thanks. :D
I can swear that I have seen this issue in a thread before, but I can't for the life of me find anything on the subject. When trying to install Elemental, I keep getting aforementioned message after some time downloading. This makes me a sad panda. What do?
Or you'll just kill your own sales. Many people are not gonna spend 100-$200(or more in my case if I want the functionality of my Current OS in a new one) to upgrade OS just to run a game.. I wouldn't. Not to mention all those 32-bit users of Win 7 who would be all like "wtf I have the newest version and your game doesn't support it"
You misunderstand. I didn't mean Stardock specifically. I meant as an industry. This goes double for
Stop producing for 32bit. Until 32bit applications stop being mainstream, you'll always have people like my father, that still lament the death of Windows 3.1 and program his PLCs in DOS. If you want it done, you'll have to force people.
About races/species; I love that Elemental only have human races, of varying degrees of degeneration. Not a multitude of elves, fairies, dorfs and whatnots out of absolutely nowhere. But I do agree that increased racial variety would be a welcome addition to the game. I fully support this motion.
Aww. I was just thinking that I could go for some flute. :p
Bear Lord; Summons bears when fighting in forests. :D
No. I don't remember those days. Suggesting that games used to be buggier or just-as-bugged-but-no-one-complained is poppycock.
I just want to chime in and underline that studies have shown that a staggering 80% of all online communication is misunderstood . Given how painfully limited most people's perception of the world is and how uneducated they are on a wide variety of subjects, it is only natural that they will fill whatever they perceive as a void with their own interpretations. "Luckmann opposes abortions; Luckmann has to be a
I think it should be fixed too. It clearly doesn't have enough bear. :)
I'm not sure what you mean by "no gameplay", since you yourself suggests Flight, different playstyles for different AI sovereigns, and settings on things such as teleport - any or all of which would no doubt influence overall gameplay quite a lot. But anyway; Bears .
Should I be posting my FAQ somewhere else then? It isn't like I can dump 12,000 words (and counting) into a post here ;)
No, no. By all means, post your FAQ there. It's a GREAT library. Just a HORRIBLE café.
Bear mounts.
Edit: Wrong thread.
Thats GFaqs in general - the community is pretty horrific nowadays.
Gamefaqs used to be awesome, until they merged with GameSpot. Absolutely everything went downhill from there. It's still a good source of Walkthroughs and FAQs, though - especially for older games.

You do a disservice to the unit creators who put in hundreds of hours of work in the mod. I'll leave the rest to Kael to set straight. I don't understand your crusade against FfH in this and other threads. But I well remember the years of watching the unit art develop. Hats off to the FfH art

If you're using a controller for a PC game, it's not really a port. The main problem with ports is usually that they play horrendously with PC controls. It is fairly obvious that this problem disappears if you have a controller. But controllers are for all intents and purposes an inferior means of control and I'd like to avoid stooping low enough to get one, just because the industry have decided to force-feed me bad ports.
Man, this is INSANELY awesome stuff, right here. Wow. I am amazed. From the looks of it, it can be put in the game and be impossible to distinguish from the main game. Hahaha, seems like the image have been reduced/enlarged to 868/15, Dog. :D ( Edit : Eek, you fixed it. That was quick.) That said, this is an excellent offer. I'd take it, if I didn't already have GalCiv2. :)
Man, I'm not sure what makes me the most sad. The fact that a stand-alone FfH-game fell through, or that Kael has moved on to Civ5, that craptastic abortion of a sacrilege.
