What happened to Kunta, aka Toby? He's not back from that mysterious part of the world where there is no internet? Also, Brad touches all his staff, doesn't he? You know, bad touches. Point to the part on the doll where he touches you Derek and we can take him away so he can never hurt you like that again...
Seriously how do you think this commen
DarkSide73
They dont need to be Gods, but sheesh - when I here chamption I think Hercules, Achilles, Jason. No they should not take an army on my themselves, but if the ratings say they should win a fight I expect them to be the last one to die - kill all the units in my army - but if any of the units should survive a fight, my champion should. I'ts all good though. I love this game can't wait for v1.1
This goes withour saying, but I fear using champions unless my soveriegn or a spell caster is with them and only if I micormanage every battle. Cause nothing sucks more then when I was building one of my sons into a killing machine, the kid has 140 mana he had wonderful armor and was on horseback. he had fought at about 50 battles prior to and was just dominating one side of the map while I handled quest items - I let the computer autofight for him one one too many time s and the
Many of these updates sound like they will be wonderful and I will certainly be looking to enjoy these goodies when they do hit. I think the new emphasis on citizens will be very helpful in the spamming of cities etc. Question: Are there things that will be done to improve the end game scenarios in the near future? I always feel like after turn 500 or so, it begins to get harder to determine what to do to actually win the game. Also, Element
I am actually going to have to stop playing halo reach for a day or so to play this tonight. thanks guys you rule. lots of fixes
To me the Dreamcast is still one of the best systems ever made and has some of the best games ever. Resident Evil Veronica on the DC is still the best of the series - only second to the original on PSone. I still have 2 functional units, and plan to be playing them tonight. Go Dreamcast SEGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was able to play over 500 turns before the 1st mem error happens - shame the game is so much more stable and fun now, but this error occurs aboutt the same point in the game everytime. the best part is the there is no way the game is out of memory on a 9gb rig with 1.45gb of ram. Sind of a Solar empire had a similar issue at 2gb, but based on the time is came out and the fact it was coded fro 32 bit machines, we tolerated, but come on guys this is the 64 bit error. I

LOL, the beta was a crappy unplayable mess, so this is faaar better than that was, but still lots of what they say on here is very true. The game has a lot of issues, especially in the late game.
I stopped reading after a while, just seems to be too verbose for my liking. I do think that parts of the game still require tweaking, but as a whole this is far and between a better game and more complete experience than the beta. Many times during the beta I wondered where the fun it as? But in my view the game proper is fun and relatively stable. Though, there certainly are issues that need to be resolved.
While I understand that large cities have food shortages and money issues. I don't see why late game I'm negative income per turn and negative food. It needs to be made clearer how much money the military is taking out of the economy or something, but still I don't see how owning 15 citiies with all of the money and food related upgrades gives me a crippled economy. Even looking at the AI armies when I attempt to trade with them, none of them seem to have any money either
These are all great points. The champions need to behave live true champions and be impressive to fight with and against.
I've been seeing this since Beta 3. When you highlight the Food and Coins at the top of the GUI it gives you a number. I assume that is the rate of growth per turn. I click the turn icon and neither goes up by that exact number. I am sure that some of that is based on the use of resources by current units and buildings, but for me that number should be the actual number of resources being created after what ever is being used. Or at least there should be a
Yeah the 1st 2 times I played in the beta I could not figure out how to get food, in fact I was not even building my towns near fertile land. LOL There is a learning curve
Stardock betas rock. This is one of the few betas where request that are made by the community get answered. So for the Stardock employees on here - ignore the nay sayers - they know not what they do! [e digicons]:ninja:[/e]
I have a man crush on Stardock ever since GalCiv. I've been coding for nearly 2 decades and still can appreciate how hard thees guys work and how much they love what the do. I got in on this beta late, but want to thank the Team for as always hearing the community voices. That is why your games are sooooooo great.
I just moved and had to take my system down last week. I must put them back online this week to check beta 4 out. Woohoo. happy dance
I had the same issues with the Archers - never had an option to build the archery range.
Maybe that is the issue I was playing as fallen and never had an option to build the archery range. The crazy thing is that I could not cast any of the spells and I learned them - clearly. Hope to have some time to play more tonight. the game is oozing potential
The will review the Day 0 version. the RTM version will be sent to get the DVDS printed and packaging in order. But once you load the game I suspect the day 0 update with be installed from the servers
The game is certainly more stable than it has been but, i don't think that every thing that is going on in the game is fully clear at this point. I researched Bows the and then built a unit that could use them and for some reason I was never able to field the unit. Maybe this is because I did not actually have bows. but it was hard to tell if this was the case or not. Some place holder icons specifically for items are still not in place. Most of the spells
The other day I go this message when the game hit 3gb of usage. My computer has 8 so I think the issue is more complicated that simply reclaiming memory. I hope it is not the same type of issue from SINS, but I certainly will try your suggestion. Thanks.
I found the debug message here C:\Users\@userName\Documents\My Games\Elemental you can view it by pressing the link below to google docs https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B5CPi4F4rnzoNzM2YmQyMzgtZGRlZi00ZjA4LWE0ODQtODQ3MzJmODBkMDEy&hl=en&authkey=CPuQ_MsB
Yes I like this in addition.
I have been enjoying the game thus far, but have seen some issues. Food production seems off in the early game. Shouldn't there be a building that produces food? Considering that city expansion is tied to that? The quest are fine as they are - there should be no way to determine how bad you will die on one - it's a quest as in you are taking a risk and reward system From a military standpoint - why can't we built lookout
