I really don't get why the Building Tile Limit was their solution to players just spamming houses to reach stuff. Why not just limit the number of houses a player can build to eight, or make them require more upkeep past a certain point?

Maybe that's it, I haven't researched all the tech trees, I mostly focus on Civic, Magic, and Diplomacy.
Noooooo! Why don't they allow divorce or remarriage?
As soon as I got married, before she could even get back to town, my wife was attacked and killed by bandits. So how do I get a divorce? How do I remarry? I have no children, my wife is dead, so am I just cheated out of a dynasty for the rest of the game?
Ok so I'm married, and my wife was killed by bandits, so how do I remarry? Seriously we don't have a kid yet, and if I can't remarry I'm just cheated out of a dynasty.
Ah thanks a ton, now if only there were a way to Give/Buy/Sell a city, so that we could properly consolidate our borders and those of our allies.
Wow awesome can you please upload this? The Code function on this forum is sorely lacking compared to other forums. Alternately could you just list just the code changes/inserts instead of the whole thing? In order for a copy and paste of the code you just shared to work the player would have to manually remove the number designation on over 3000 lines of code.
After going to war with a rival kingdom, well on the other side of the map, I found myself holding his poorly placed settlements and unable to be rid of them. I like to keep my borders neat and consolidated, and I like the same for my allies, and I really hate having a poorly placed village with no room to expand clear on the other side of the world in the middle of a friendly kingdom's domain. Is there any way to mod it so that we can abandon or give away cities we own, or at the very least
Strike that, seems the file I'm looking for is CoreRaceConfigs.xml in the \Elemental War of Magic\data\English folder
Coolness I'm going to make a mod for that now!
Does anyone know exactly what controls the Terrain changes in Empire and Kingdom areas of influence? I thought it would be really cool to mod them further, so that some morph the terrain to desert and snow instead of just darkness and grasslands. Personally I'm a bit disappointed that all empires turn the land dark and dead while all kingdoms turn it nice and green, it really just doesn't seem fitting for some empires and kingdoms.
Ah nevermind found it in the Data/English folder.

Ok I'm amazed that no one (at least that I could find), has done this yet. I want to mod to edit available starting equipment in the Create a Sovereign editor, particularly I want to mod it so that players can spend points to start out with a Short Sword, mostly because I'm fed up with the player portraits looking like crap because all I have to pose with is a club or stick. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Where do I even find the file I need to mod?
Why is it almost damned impossible to get any information on the races, on the website or even in the game? I'd like to know more about the Wraiths than that they look like Wraiths.
