Re-visiting this and trying to think of a good solution. How about this? Path of The Governor :- Every time a unit or building is completed in the city the Governor is stationed the Governor receives a certain percentage of the build cost in xp? Obviously the Governor should be in the city for the duration of the build.
Maul is the next most ridiculously overpowered ability. I dunno if you can still get it, but in .75 game I played you could find two weapons with it.
But your title says
.77 feedback
I don't understand, are you sure you are not wasting your time critiquing .77 when your are actually playing .75?
How does paper beat rock anyway? Wrapping it up?? I am telling you now if I was in a fight with some guy and he tried to win by 'wrapping me up' it wouldn't end well for him. I say rock would kick paper's arse. Anyway, flamethrower beats them all!
Failing that, some sort of structure to 'bridge' the gap between the two land masses, I would call it a 'structure between places' but I am sure there may be a simpler name for it.
Something to keep in mind is that if injuries are too crippeling, they simply create the "reload save before battle" impulse that a dead champion has. A champion that becomes effectively useless after one or two lost fights might as well be dead.
Or alternatively a crippled champion should be retired to look after a city, which makes sense if you ask me.
I did watch last night, until I got a bit too tired and started to nod off. Thanks it was educational. [e digicons]k1[/e]
I loved the way the cities sprawled in E:WoM, whilst I haven't got the beta yet (I am probably in the next batch) I would be very disappointed if it were dropped. Just from an aesthetic point of view, it looks amazing to see discover a sprawling city between a mountain range. A one tile city in comparison would just look a bit naff. As for making it harder to mod, I agree to an extent, but the flip side is when it has been modded the results are far more stunning than a simple cit
Sorry if thes have been thought of elsewhere, just throwing out thoughts of my own without checking the whole thread. On some of them it is harder without knowing the abilities of the creatures need naming, and whether they are unique or not. Unit Abilities: Hardened - Unit starts at 2nd level Armor: Crystallized Carapace - A magical breastplate with increased defense <
Nice animation, but your game plug is in danger of distracting. That looks like the sort of fun indie game i have been waiting for. I loved the boulderdash games, and this seems a natural extension of that. Of course i have pledged, i want to see that game made.
I am speccing a game in fumbbl at the moment. I am an admin there, although not under this name. Come join the site, it is well run.
If this gets more games released into UK's region I'll be happy (fed up of the 'not available in your region' let down) If it doesn't I still aren't too bothered. I use Steam, i have no problem with Steam. So if Steam gets more competition this means i am more likely to see prices of games i want slashed more often, therefore i get cheaper games. Some people just look for the bad in everything
This has me excited. And therefore i will follow this thread closely
+1 vote to global events Things i would like to see World wide weather effects, droughts destroying food, floods slowing movement, blizzards damaging troops exposed in the wilderness. Titanic creatures released into the world. The sort that force alliances to team up to try and take the creature down. Volcanoes and earthquakes hitting random places, could be exactly as the spells. High powered mercenaries putting themselves up for auction.<
Winner must have a different defination to what i thought then ;)
And i still don't like ABBA
Looks great. I am looking forward to its release.
I honestly think some people would complain even if the 'expansion' came with a ball tickler attachment. [e digicons]:|[/e]
Can you please clear something up for me about this mod? Do the building changes effect the player as well, or only the AI players?
I want the word 'green' in the title. It sucks that it doesn't. I think that Stardock owe me an apology unless they put the word 'green' in the title somewhere! I bet Stardock won't apologize though because they are a big business that doesn't care whether it's core fans want the word 'green' in the title.
Well, it is a lot easier to throw insults around to faceless people. When these people can reply it makes you think twice about what you say :)
Well surely it could run out of population, and therefore not be able to build the workshop, meaning that if it had no materials it couldn't build a farm to increase its population, and therefore it would be stuck? (Haven't played for a while and can't remember if a farm needs materials or not, if it does then the obvious solution is to make it so that it doesn't, then the AI couldn't get stuck)
CIV 4 fanboys. I find those the worst sort. It's a game, not a way of life.
Wow, i bet a few users are too young to get that reference.
