When you want to select specific units in a group you hold CTRL and click them. However when I do so the mouse pointer rubber bands a bit so I have to lift my finger up off of CTRL, move the mouse, hold CTRL again and click. Its not that big of a deal, but annoying. I'm assuming my directx.txt file wouldn't explain this one. So is it game? My mouse? Schadenfreude?

Whenever you train a unit, after you close the window for it have the selected size go back to one each time. It'd be quite annoying if you meant to create one unit, but put in for a company and have that time/resource wasted. If you meant to do a company, but only built one unit its a much smaller loss.
Meh. Big companies do not like that. Possible non-compete contracts or just swagger and arrogance might make them make life difficult for stardock.
E:WoM crashed when I clicked on the magicians academy icon during the ' which tech do you want to choose' window. I clicked on a different icon in the same screen before and it brought me to the hiegerman or however it is spelled and no CTD. Then I clicked the icon for magicians academy and it crashed. For a week I was playing(attempting to play at least) a medium sized, one continent map. There did not seem to be random map generation, just the same map repeated. With Beta-3A I've been trying multiple continents. It also seems to be the same map. Are we limited to one map per land type with only resource/goodie hut random generation? Also the last multi-cotinent map I tried had some fairly powerful heroes/champions around my sovereign at turn one. For example, one had 27atta
Has already been posted about.(er not in a rude tone, just informing :) ).

I think your soevereign and their spouse should only have the chance of having children when they are in the same spot for a turn. Being on the otherside of the map from one another does not produce children. Do I need diagrams?! ;) Maybe make it like a 5-10% chance of having a kid while on the same space? Or start it at 30%, but have the probability go down as more children are being born. So even if they are not together for a while when they come back together the percentage would sti
In attempting to create a sovereign's appearance I noticed there was some skin showing through. One fairly large blue spot and another smaller one. The sovereign's skin is blue and I assume its their skin being shown through the shirt where I'm sure it was meant to be covered. As well the female's sovereign's lips stay pink regardless of skin colour. Picture link(spots circled in red):<a href="http://s1032.photobucket.com/albums/a406/thebossinthewall/?action=view¤t=Blue
Definately agree with the equipment idea. the other, meh. you can spend points to be more adept with magic at the begining, but I like that it doesn't mean a merchant or theif or what have you can suprass you if that's how the level themselves up.
I thought I read we were going to be able to have controlable battles in this version, not just auto-resolve? Or is that just my wishful thinking mixing things up?
Sovereigns are definately too weak to start. A little spiderling kills my soveriegn at the begining of half of my games. If a sovereign can't squash a spider the size of his boot at the start, then they should not be a sovereign. I disagree with the sovereign always adding to an army's morale. A soveriegn can be a real wanker and hated/feared by his people. Or have a face like a demon which freaks them out. Or maybe a voice that sounds like a ghost, etc. There are some traits you

Still having this problem too.
quoting post Not big changes, but minor tweaks: A way to reload without exiting the game first. I'm almost positive that will be in the final version. IIRC, that was done only for beta testing to minimize out of memory crashes. An explanation as to why you apparently can't talk to some NPC's (the dialogue balloon is crossed out). <br /
Nothing specific happened. Was just moving and game froze. Could not exit, had to do a hard restart. As well the game is running a lot slower in the latest beta-3a. After playing a bit and exiting my entire computer runs slower and I have to restart.
Your sovereign (maybe some of the champions you teach magic too) can change the wasted land or the land of the opposite alignment into land of your alignment. This costs essence. You can only build cities on land of your alignment, yet if the land already is your alignment you have no need for the Revive Land spell. The kingdoms have the green grass and the fall the black brimstone. Everything else (swamps, deserts, barrens) are all wasted l
Isn't the graphic in the Beta version is the style that they will be choose for the final version? If you don't like the current graphic, why? And AFAIK, the developer choose this graphic style for a reason. There's an explanation about the style in Developer Journal section.
No, I remember reading that they were using less detailed graphics because it was beta. Maybe I was wrong?
Could someone explain exactly how Revive Land works?
I was unable to create a farm on fertile land. Picture: http://s1032.photobucket.com/albums/a406/thebossinthewall/?action=view¤t=fertileland.jpg I also recieved an error message upon exiting. Picture: http://s1032.photobucket.com/albums/a40
same thing happened to me.
Mine summoned a solider and had what looked like a stone golem, albeit a short skinny one. (Different from the one you posted)
From Beta 3 to Beta 3A it seems that moving the mouse pointer to the edge the screen to scoll gives you a half a second before the scrolling actually happens. Irrirating. Is there something to change this in options? I see scroll speed, but not a scroll delay. As well it seems I still have to turn off anti-alliasing and advanced lighting to have all the graphics work.
