I do think you generally have to be careful about purchased form Amazon, but, how careful do you need to be for $2? And thanks for the clarification for the discount.

Lol, um...good job and all...but it's less impressive with 18 months passing in between post.
I think it fell through. It was going to be released with some patch of WoM, but it never fell into place. I am not sure if they are going to add a Destiny's Embers campaign or content to FE or not, I am very interested to find out. I would love to have it.
This is by far the most promising and exciting look / post I have ever read about FE. SUPER. This looks excellent and extremely promising -- thank you! One question: I thought that the core game mechanics do not include "units", that is, to quote Brad, "there is no such thing as a 'knight'." So how does one make "unique" "units"? I thought unit creation (and the pre-made ones are "merely" created beforehand by you using
Everyone can't like everything.
Oh awesome, I've been bumped up to the earlier timeslot. Last time this was mentioned it was only people in the beta of WoM that got it on the 19th, and I preordered after the beta closed.
I want to be bumped up!!!
Republican = Sith. I'm joking!
I think I might try to be on Kaas tonight.
Yea, but Brad is good at AI, and it's probably hard to find people to hire to do that work as well. And Derek and Jon will tell him if there is a problem, that's what they were hired to do.
That is a strange price. Low is low, but why $2.42 seems odd. why not $2.50, or even $2.49. Is the FE discount still in place? Someone might be able to save money on FE by getting WoM for $2.42.
War of Magic is finished, I doubt there will be more patches. Brad believes it is now a good game. And I think that at some point you start getting diminishing returns on the hours they are spending to fix it and how much better they can make it. They have done their best, but there are some fundamental flaws in WoM that couldn't be fixed, and that's why FE was made from the ground up.
Boo, I didn't pre-order, I got it at release [e digicons]8C[/e] Oh well...
Ultimately, a well equipped, medium sized army is no match for two high level magical users. That sounds about right to me. Magic is powerful. That being said, use of high-power magic spells should carry a risk to the caster. You can use the same mechanic as if the hero were defeated in battle. Save against Intelligence and Luck or something like that. The spell could still work, but the her
Not sure which face you linked, as I can't see from work, but the ones with the blackeye where the worst for me.
I've been thinking about this thread a lot, as I am one to blow up and flame from time to time. I think I am going to try and not do this any more. It really hasn't been an issue for awhile, so long after WoM release, but when tons of new people start to come to the forums for FE, I know the feeling to explode at some with who make entitled, illogical and whiny post. I will do my best to address it in a calm fashion, or ignore it entirely.
I'm really looking forward to this game. It looks pretty neat to me. Too bad I am not allowed to buy another game for the whole year. I live under the dictaorship of a 5'4" 125 pound tyrant, who says that my back to back $150 CE game purchases show that I am irresponsible and not dedicated to saving for our wedding [e digicons]X([/e] But, I still have tons to do in Skyrim and SWTOR, and I have E:FE coming for free. But Crusader kin
Ok narrow the scope: My argument is simple. LucasArts just spent millions on a game that is charging you monthly. They didn't spend those millions on a one time purchase Star Wars game. I glad Skyrim is doing so well, it flies in the face of MMO's.
It does? How? How does it fly in the face of MMOs? And I don't know what the first part of the post
Companies go where the cash is if you help make this game a cash cow eventually all games IMHO will eventually charge some type of subscription.
This is sooo wrong. There have been MMO's charging the standard 15$ for 15 years or more. This is the standard really, the other methods, free to play and microtransaction, are newer.
This seems ridiculous. Don't you live in some frozen tundra of Near-Canadia?
Same, kind of a hassle to uninstall Impulse, but Steam has become my major service now. I do check Impulse and others for deals, but they just rarely have what steam has to offer. And Steam has never given me problems ever.
I still hope that you change your mind and let Kir-Frogbard marry Myrella and have offspring. Don't worry about marrying the kids off, but the Sovereign having family gets the player more attached. It is just a deeper game. That was one of my favorite parts of Elemental.
This was one of my favorite parts too.
15$ a month isn't much money when you're a grown up with a job.

I have two computers and one is 64 bit. I would update the other.
Sorry, late. Good read though.
