I don't think I lost faith in Stardock as being an honest and good company, truly wanting to make great games and treating their customers well. But, I did lose faith in their ability to make a great game. I still believe that they can, but that belief is weakened with WoM and it's patches.

I really hope they deliver a great game. Like 90%+ in the Metacritic type of game. Anything less than excellent will be a disappointment, I think to both fans and Stardock.

I really hope they listen, but it seems like we have made a ton of topics on this and given plethora of ideas that could make it work. I remember making several of these suggestions for WoM. I sure hope if they do anything at all, at least they limit the number of magic items units can soldiers can equip. Portals was another thing that came up before, and I loved the idea then and I love it now. No boats, teleport too OP? Then portals would be a very strategic thing to add.

Hopefully, FE will be a lot better off at launch than WoM was and then they can do things like add content instead of take it away with patches, which seemed to happen fairly often with WoM. I would be pretty damn happy if they dedicated an entire expansion to Dynasties. "Elemental: Dynasties". Even sounds good.

I was looking for this game when it was first released. I had forgotten about Stardock and their digital download services. So, I went to Gamestop to ask them if they had it yet or if they could pre-order it. Their response? "Never heard of it". I waited a week, and went to best buy. Wasn't on the shelf anywhere. From what I understand, dynasties were not done well enough, and they didn't want to put the resources into that feature when they didn't have a solid way to make it work and be balanced, interesting, and fun. In WoM, there were a lot of bugs involved with the Dynasties, and they were often just a tool to make tons of freely imbued champions. I hate hand to hand fighting in games. Nobody in the history of the world would choose to not use a weapon if available. I can suspend my disbelief with dragons and magic, but with a guy trying to fight bare handed against a guy with a sword.

Geez, Kryo, are you saying that someone couldn't just create a new account and then say they bought the game to get FE for free. What is the world coming too?
