That's already pretty hard for a guy like me. I will admit to not being very tech smart. I'm sure the vast majority of the people who use these forums are much more educated and comfortable with technology than I, and I know for a fact that I would not have easily figured out how to turn off my computer if I had Windows 8. Seems strange to hide a function like turning off the computer. I already have a hard time enough getting mods and things to work

I agree, adding the choice of wielding pairs of daggers sounds like a cool option for the Assassin path.
I just want to say it's pretty nice of Brad to let these bitchfest about how he runs his company go on as long as he does on his message boards. And it's only a very small number of people who hate Steam as compared to the number of people who use it. Why aim to satisfy 1% of people to spite 99%? But, I really don't give a shit to argue, so feel free to ignore, I doubt I will respond to any response to this post.
That would be pretty cool, I just worry about how to balance it. But, because it takes a special rare trait to do, I am fine with it being better than the options of 2-handed weapon or sword & board. But it can't be soooo good that you should only want to choose that one.
Basically, it's fine if you make Sins Steam only. What is not fine is doing it in an underhanded way, and doing it part way through the cycle of a single release (AFAIK Rebellion is still essentially part of Sins 1). So you have two choices now. Remove the Gamer's Bill of Rights, and say on the forums IN VERY OBVIOUS PLACES that you don't support it anymore, or make Sins not require Steamworks. You were t
I'm not opposed to a system that limited the items based on where they are placed, but 10 rings are too much. I would prefer old D&D rules of 2 rings. So one amulet, 2 rings, and 2 Misc sounds like a fair compromise to me. But to be honest, just 4 is also good. Allowing 10 rings seems to defeat the purpose of a limit.
I think it's fantastic. It makes those items meaningful, and it's one of those limitations that actually increases choice by making the choice of what items to use meaningful. I didn't even look at items really before, it had a bonus so I equipped it. Now I have to make intelligent choices that help me specialize heroes and units, making both more interesting.
It isn't random. They ate all the black people first. See any black people in Elemental? Nope, cause the racist bears ate them!
Eh, I normally rage against the entitled gamers. But in this case, I agree with Fistalis. That's a load of shit, he should have access to the games he purchased. All the talk of "you should have backed it up" is bullshit to me. But then again, I am probably a troll of some kind.
Maul is something that probably shouldn't be able to do every round. I can't throw knives or use my fire spell from my staff every round, but I can use this super ability?
I think my big problem with research is that I have to research basic shit like pointy sticks and how to plant crops. I don't want to research that shit, shit that I need for having a basic functioning nation should be automatic. Maybe eliminate the first half of the tech trees? Or give the option of starting with those complete, like the first two or three rows.
Have the administrators share in the mental health worker's duties. The staff should perk up if they see their bosses getting their hands dirty.
This is something that has been suggested, but the nurse administrators have yet to do this or make a move to do this. It would at least be a symbolic gesture I think would help if not simply alleviate some of the forced overtime.
I'm far less concerned about my job and me personally. I'm fine, I'm more frustrated for the direct care staff at the hospital. I think those at the top are not really just terrible people that are heartless to the dilemma of the workers, they have just hardened themselves to the situation as they are fairly powerless to fix it. But that does makes things worse.
Is there similar situation in other State Mental Hospitals?
Yea, its pretty common all over the nation, was just reading about an Oregon state hospital going through the same thing.
I work in a State Mental Hospital. Falling economy and state budget cuts have hit us hard. Near 200 patients, many of which have serious violent histories or are actively violent. Back when I directly worked with patients, I had been punched, slapped, stabbed, and bitten. It was stressful, but I never really felt that I was in serious danger or over worked. Many of our patients were violent at times, but very few were very good at violence. Meaning, a 6
But no, I'm not talking about actual animations that artists are responsible for. This issue is, when a unit is moved, they are immediately given a movement velocity and moved along towards the next tile in their path unlike in the real world where objects must accelerate due to physics.
I'm going to have to play the game and take a look at this myself to get a clear understanding of what you are saying.
Suggested years ago...I would like it, but it doesn't seem likely at this point.
I wish Stardock would have never mentioned MoM in regards to Elemental. I am sick and tired of hearing about that old ass game.
I just lost a game...jerk.
Well, I "have" a computer. Is that good enough computer skills? Well, if you need someone to teach you how to take care of the severely mentally ill, I am your man. Seriously, Kael...Brad's sanity is hanging on by a thin thread, we all know it...when he needs to be wrangled, call me.
You should only know of one book, and that's the Bible. All other books contain untruthiness that taint your soul and your taint.
Madness! Everybody knows that when more than a company of troops is collected, administrative overhead develops! Try to understand the beauty of the world Stardock is giving us to play in: you can have military formations without paperwork! Or perhaps the nice folks at Stardock could take a look at Mount&Blade and see what can be done towards creating mixed units. I'd really love it if I could establish a line and have
I hate always counter attacking. And it wouldn't work well in a game with glass cannon soldiers. Every attack would be a suicide.
...meh
Did you start a new game or continue an old game with the new patch?
