I'm curious at what Stardock could create outside of TBS games. They seemed to struggle from the change from space TBS to world TBS. I wonder if they would be able to really create a good AAA game outside of the TBS genre. A turn based roleplaying game in the Elemental universe would neat. Although we would probably only have the choice to play a white human as main character as that's all five kingdoms are made of and even one empire.

Been playing a lot of Sims Medieval...I love that silly game, for all it's flaws and limitations, I think I actually get more RPG fun out of it than just about any game.

I think I had Ultima IV on Nintendo, Quest of the Avatar or something. That was a unique game. Loved it.

We have discussed Beta 1 to death So next weekend its all joy for everyone![/quote] I know I have, can only play and talk about the same beta for a week or so. Most of the big bugs are caught and reported by then and many changes are already being implemented and decided on by Stardock for future builds,

Bioware sent me an email that says "Qyzen Fess misses the adventure!" And "Qyzen Fess eagerly awaits your return". Maybe if Qyzen Fess should shut the fuck up.

Race have different stats. Problem is, you can't tell theat until you start a game and train a unit. Nothing in the faction selection or create a faction will tell you what the stats are. Most races have stats that fall between 7 and 11. Altarians have 8 STR 9 DEX 9INT 8 CON, Trogs have 11 STR 7 DEX 7 INT 9 CON. Someone made a topic listing all the races different stats, I will look and bump it for you.

I finally believe now that Dragon Age Origins was Bioware's swan song. I'm not even looking forward to ME3...and it should be a major event in my nerd life.

I only have 2 actual games from Stardock, other than FE beta. GalCivs 2, which I would give a 9/10 and WoM which would give about a 5/10. With those two releases they are gien a Xiacritic score of 7/10. What I own of Firaxis, Alpha Centauri 10/10, Civ 2 9/10, Civ 3 7/10, Civ 4 9/10, Civ V 8/10, Pirates 8/10, Colonization 8/10. Giving Firaxis a Xiacritic score of 8.4/10. All scores are subject to change at a whim.

I've usually been pretty disappointed with mods in general and don't find them particularly special, usually unstable and filled with rule changes only a small few, hardcore players could appreciate. FFH2 was the rare exception to that. I loved that mod as much as any game ever released.
