I'm not up to trying it yet.

Probably console games. Defender of the Crown on my 8-bit nintendo I pull it out and play with it every few months since 1988 or so.
To be honest, I bitched a lot and looking back at my bitching topics, I can actually see that the Devs did listen to what we had to say and implemented quite a bit from those topics. I don't think that Stardock just blindly listens to forum posters, I think they weigh the value and worth of ideas solidly. I think the problem with what happened with WoM was what brad said, a lack of focus and leadership for the project.
I haven't played for awhile, but one thing that turned me off was that the maps didn't actually look like any real landmass. I loved the map that came with the novel, and I used it most games in WoM. Are there going to be any premade maps available, are there already and I don't know it since I haven't played FE in a long time, or will the randomly generated maps be made to actually look like real landmasses?
That picture with California looks like there is a guy in a top hat making sweet butt love to George Lucas.
I don't know about that, they often made choices that no one on the forums asked for and were baffled by.
The perfect term to describe this process is 'whack a mole' whereby the developers whack both good and bad moles and new good and bad moles immediately pop up only to be whacked again and so on and so forth!! This 'whack a mole' process severely handicapped the development of the game and prevented it from becoming something fantastic.
This
I remember how terrible WoM was, it's kind of funny to think about now. The AI controlled sovs would walk themselves in a corner of the map and just stay there for the rest of the game. in battles, they would just chase one guy mindlessly. So many bugs and bad design choices, I just kept thinking, "what the fuck? did people play this game before it was released" over and over again I still had fun with it though, although I can't even touch it now
To be honest, I haven't touched FE for over six months I think. I look at it and think it should be more fun than it is, but I found myself to be more frustrated than really enjoying it. So I decided to take time away fro it, and wait for a more finished product. I have spoken my mind loudly on several occasions about my opinions, so I think I've been heard and considered. So I will wait and see what we get when it's finished.
I'm not a very tech person. I read books. Not a lot and some are of questionable cultural value, I'm no snob, but I've haven't yet moved on to reading a book in any way other than on paper.
I desperately want tougher cities. Them vanishing like a fart in the wind as a bear comes strolling in seems silly and an outdated game mechanic.
It is a movie, but a super ultra conservative propaganda one. And the one rule of this sub-forum is no politics. I think it would be hard to talk about this movie without having a political discussion. Is there a plot (story plot, not political subversive plan, I know there is one of those) to discuss? Is there acting? Is there special effects? It seems, in my great wisdom (and no authority to actually make a decision) that this would be better posted
Sounds like bullshit conservative propaganda. I'll throw it in my "bullshit I don't watch" pile with Michael Moore's leftist bullshit propaganda.
I work in a mental institute, and I have heard this before.
It's pretty freaking hot and dry here in East Kansas. It's been in the 97 to 105 range pretty much all summer. But, hot and dry means no tornadoes...so that's nice...
I've become the same way, games that I had to have on release are fewer and farther between then they use to be. I think DLC has been the real culprit of it. I bought Mass Effect 2 as soon as it came out and then beat it quickly. New DLC came out and for a game that has so much story, I felt as if I have missed out on something by not playing my first run through with the DLC. I never bought any DLC for ME2 and have so far not bought ME3 at all. I a
“On Steam, whenever a customer is unhappy with any transaction, our first goal is to resolve things as quickly as possible through the normal customer support process. However in those instances in which we can’t resolve a dispute, we’ve outlined a new required process whereby we agree to use arbitration or small claims court to resolve the dispute. In the arbitration process, Valve will reimburse your costs of the arbitration for claims under [$10,000]. Reimbursement b
There are plenty of people who don't believe in the moon landing, or who believe in ghost, and Sasquatch. And there are a lot of people who don't like steam. There are a lot more people who disagree, who like steam, and I'm sure developers like steam a hell of a lot more than retailers.
My argument is, there is no point in getting rid of steam. It causes me no problems, it instead provides a service. When my computer went down, and I had to rely on my laptop, I decided that I should put some games on it. I could of dragged out all my disk, but decided to put steam and the games on it was much easier, and because my laptop is often not connected to the internet, the offline mode allows me to play all my steam games without an internet connection. Steam has o

Same as above. Ignore War of Magic, and get Fallen Enchantress. Even in a beta state, it is much better than War of Magic.
TOR was a huge disappointment. It was fun, but felt outdated the day it shipped. Old gameplay, and leveling so quick, you could get to 50 in one month even as a casual player. Huge disappointment. Story and voice acting wasn't enough, as everything else was mediocre and been done a 1,000 times before. This style of MMO is probably going to go away. I don't understand the economics of developing a MMO, I can't see it as profitable. &nbs
I've been noticing this for months...
I got Fallout 3 GOTY for $4.99. I already owned Fallout 3 and all the DLC (from GFWL) but didn't feel like bothering with discs and GFWL anymore, so I bought it again.
I really should have done this too.
I picked up Morrowind for $11. I had played the crap out of it before on my Xbox, but felt the need to play it again without puling out the old giant black box.
