Looks interesting, kind of a bland Alpha Centauri I guess. Something to look into.
Lord Xia
I hate surrendering if that means they cease to exist. A Surrender that causes them to be capitulated/vassalized, makes sense, but one where they lose all their culture and identity is silly. If they are going to be annihilated either way, they should fight to the death.

That and Arcanum...shit all the Troika games could be on my list. Yeah, Arcanum was pretty freaking awesome. Fallout with more divergent playstyles via the tech/magic mechanic.
Also, you could fuck a sheep. Not enough games offer that.

I'm not sure how far back "vintage" goes. But I will list some of my favorite all time. Console and PC. Vintage: Alpha Centuari Planescape Torment Romance of the Three Kingdoms Brigandine Final Fantasy Tactics Newer: Fallout 3 & NV (yes I liked them better than the old ones) Morrowind & Skyrim (I liked Oblivion, but not enough to list) Dragon Age: Origins (2&nb
I'm rarely the one to bring torches and pitchforks to storm a game company, but I hate EA. I really don't think that I can come close to saying that about any other video game company. I hate to be "one of those" internet people who sees in black and white and uses hyperbole like a fat man uses table salt, but I had a very bad feeling when EA purchases Bioware, and as much as I wanted to live in denial, everything that Bioware has released since has been underwhelming
My start was Romance of the Three Kingdoms also, around 20 years or more. I was obsessed with it, played every game about the time, and reading the novels. I got into Civ and Alpha Centauri later and that sealed what my true genre I loved, TBS.

Advertising allows us to get a lot of the shit we take for granted for free, at a reduced price, or to be even available at all. All we have to do is allow it to exist, and it makes the world better.
Does that image with the dragon seem kind of silly to anyone else? What is that little fence suppose to do? Is it keeping people out or the dragon in? Cause either way it's making me giggle.
This is a planned $4.99 DLC in the future. It will be a bit different and have more depth than WoM. Hush hush though, I'm not suppose to tell anyone.
Essence sounds like a terrible name for whatever it does. We will have to change that.
Isn't it "Majere"?
"Moon" with Sam Rockwell was another, fairly recent Sci-Fi movie I really loved. Also, the 3-D shit is getting crazy. The Great Gatsby is going to be in 3-D...are you fucking kidding me? I understand sci-fi, action, horror...but the Great Gatsby? Shit has jumped the shark.
Congrats Jafo! I'm a few months from getting hitched myself, hope I can go 30.
Fantastic movie. Incredible. Probably too good to be fully appreciated. True science fiction is so rare in movies, just fantastic.
Guys, I want to say that I love gog.com, but comparing what they are to steam isn't exactly the same thing. No, gog doesn't have a client or DRM...but they also sell really old ass games for the most part and have a small library. It's not a fair comparison, no matter what you want to compare.
He said I couldn't suck the bark of a log...well, I showed him!
The spirit wolf does spirit damage which is something that most things have no resistance too. And the fact that all units move on the sea works well in the game because they have to end their turn at the edge of the water, then enter the water the next turn, and then they can move across the water on the third, so making it a real obstacle. Also, when normal land units are in the sea, they transform into shit boats that can be easily destroyed.
I hate long building ques. I wish we could just build and have it done with.
That's pretty fantastic.
I've never really seen the benefits of having the variable numbers of parties in the game. All it does is make the game more difficult to balance.
Couldn't agree more.
You can put it on as many computers as you want and redownload it as often as you need with Steam. Those kind of restrictions are not Steam related. So if you buy a Ubisoft game from Steam, it probably won't allow you to do that...cause Ubi are kind harsh about that shit.
I love the game.
I actually bought a lifetime subscription to this game when it first came out...ever make those choices in life you regret forever... But to be fair, it's not a bad game, but it is repetitive and fairly bland. And they keep adding more shit to it without making it better. So now it's a very obtuse and obese monster of confusing options in a bland and sterile world of mediocre gameplay.
