Haha, that would be awesome if A)the throwing knives actually did damage and B ) Bloodthirsty did anything at all, and it doesn't. Great if things worked like they say they do.
Lord Xia
Kraxis is pretty much the only default nation I play as. Wealthy, betrayed, defensive, are among my favorite things to use. One handed spears, leather armor and bronze shields in a five man group make for a very good early unit with the Kraxis fortify.

Thats right, I wouldn't mind champions dying after 7-9 wounds since... well same same, but I would rather they would be retired as city governors, even for a meagre 5% bonus until I decapitate them. Quoting Lord Xia, reply 9The big problem is that if a person is defeated i
I play without magic paths and without wealthy all the time. The only thing that I am getting from this is that taking wealthy and magic paths for essence spells gives a strong early game boost. So what are you proving now? I think that using any race with that build will work and it proves nothing. Play something that you haven't already proven to be op. Wealthy is, we got it. Picking certain magic paths for their city spells is, we got that. Don

As it stands the game feels somewhat like it's on easy mode, because losing is so difficult. It sounds as if you are shying away from a little bit more of a challenge? How about playing with no magic paths and no wealthy?
That's funny, because I have never taken scarred as it seems so prohibitive, but if it actually doesn't do anything, then I feel silly.
They can't die. The system isn't made with the ability to create more, so losing them permanently is problematic. If I have a faction that isn't skilled at getting champions, like Athica or Kraxis, than I might not have that many champions until later in the game, I often go to the midgame with only my sov and 3 other champs. If they died, there is no way to replace them. And they can die pretty easy. Dark wizard doesn't seem to tough? &
Shit, the way movement is, a mounted unit could charge the field on turn one or archers shoot them from the opposite side of the field and kill my mages before they ever get a turn. Many things are powerful against certain troops. If a large monster has spill damage, sweep, overpower, they can eliminate mages or anything else pretty quick. And aren't there spells that do elemental protection? I've had them but never used them, so I don&#
I play hundreds of turns whithout shit happening at all. 100 turns, thats just long enough to build a couple buildings, a couple troops and that's it.
I had this happen too. I don't use the premade units though, so I didn't pay it much mind.
It makes the magic nations weak and the military ones strong. And the dark wizards pull this despair shit that can wipe out the entire batlefield, but if you autobattle them, they are nothing. Also, I watched a mage sov and his army suicide itself against a big ass Drake.I think it was a drake, it had 130 HP and overpower. The Drake didnt attack them, they attacked it. I don't think the AI take that stuff(overpower) into consideration along&
I like the quest, i like reading them and I enjoy doing them. It's good fun. I don't expect every quest I get to be some major Destroy the One ring quest. But overall I enjoy them.
Don't agree. They seem pretty balanced for their resource cost.
I created an army unit that had throwing knives. For the cost of 2 metals per unit, they now have the ability to throw knives once every other/or every third turn for 0-1 points of damage!!! Way OP! My group of 7 soldiers couldn't do shit against even weak enemies with those things. They really need some buffing.

It causes priapism.
According to my very precise math calculations of the poll, using the Xia score of Terrible being 0%, 50% being fair, and Excellent being 100%, the game is receiving a current score of 73%. That's pretty good for a beta, and I think a score of 85% to 90% very doable by release date.
Although I think I would prefer road building to be tied to the Legacy of Serrane and not the Mncer race, and then boost the Mancers accuracy bonus to +2 per level.
War horses are tied to the faction trait Legacy of Serrane or something, and they don't get them inherently. Although they might get the road building free, which would explain why I could do it and not know why...I guess road building and +1 accuracy is good enough, if road building is tied to the MAncer blood. Maybe then just update the tool-tip then to reflect they get road building?
YES! 100% agree.
Quoting Alstein, reply 50The health nerf of Pariden/Resoln should be -10% hp instead of -1 per level. Good idea! Maybe even 20%, it's still better than -1 per level.
Actually, if you were going to give the Wraiths a penalty, it shouldn't be a HP one, but how about a -10 armor weight penalty? It's thematic, and even though Resolin goes no armor, they would no longer be able to equip a normal
I like to use the Mancer race for my Yoren faction, it's a human race that doesn't have it's own default nation anymore. Right now it's Mancer's blood racial bonus is a +1 accuracy per level. That's pretty much nothing. Could we change that to +2 accuracy per level? I know this is probably really low on priority as this is a race that is a minor race, but it's also a small change.
Just take out the health nerf. It's not needed. What are we using to balance it against Their shitty bonuses? Maybe I am wrong, I will try ut these nations tonight, but those bonuses they get son't seem to add up to those of other races who don't get hp penalties. I think the Ironeers have a balanced set up, they get a hit point bonus, spell resistance bonus, golems, but their spells are expensive to cast. But Wraiths and Am
No
Quoting Lord Xia, reply 44Pariden and REsolin races need something more to their base race. That hp penalty is huge and they get dick for it. I wouldn't say that, though balance needs to be considered... Resolin has the demons. They just need to be finetuned so that resolin champs can rely on them during combat instead of their own health... Paradin has magic and a tonne of it. They
