I just don't think that modders have enough to work with. How can any one create anything other than a linear adventure with this? Just move from one scene to the next, with no choices and no exploration. The checkpoint saves are a major downfall.
I'm mildly disappointed. It's not much of a game. The game minus the Shadowrun license, would be less than mediocre. The save system is barbaric. It's linear is ways I haven't seen for a very long time. I haven't played it for long enough to really get a good opinion on writing or story, but I am not terribly impressed so far. Pretty much stereotypical, not bad but nothing that impresses. I am wondering about the

Can't always get what you want. Goes for Frogboy, his customers, and the Rolling Stones.
Aww, that's not fair! The only summer camps I was allowed to go to were all about Jesus. And what video games did Jesus make? NONE!
Interesting. I tend to take pretty long turns and often leave LH on in the background. Even for hours sometimes...
And thus Skynet was formed...
Quoting Lord Xia, reply 23 I just want to ignore the trading cards altogether. That's certainly your prerogative. It's almost like leaving money on the table though. I find it very easy though to take 10 seconds, go to your Steam inventory, click on each card, hit "sell" and price it at the current market value. Bam, instant cash. I've just about acquired and sold all my cards... final tally is around $
I just want to ignore the trading cards altogether.
Well, aliens are rarely anything other than humans +strange skin, hair, ears, forehead or insects/talking rocks/energy blob. The best thing is that Star Control already has a ton of races to pick and choose from.
I have Star Control 2 on my Panasonic 3DO. Gonna have to play it again, so I can correctly tell Stardock everything they are doing wrong [e digicons]O:)[/e]
Yay! Star Control is an awesome IP.
Wait, you get experience on steam? I use Steam all the time, I didn't even know there was experience. I feel like an angry old man confused by anything new or different.
I have absolutely no concept of trading cards, their purpose or their entertainment value. I have no conception of it. I remember younger kids playing things like pokemon and magic the gathering when I was a kid, but no one I knew did that stuff. And when a game mentions it having anything like that I tend to avoid it. I don't understand trading cards at all. I had a friend once when I was 10 who wanted to trade baseball cards. I didn't really under

I just wish the Toys for Bob folks would try kickstarting a new game along somewhat similar lines. I wonder what people would think of a Stardo
I also bought The Walking Dead.
Are the numbers accurate or hyperbole?
I picked up some adventure games that I have been wanting to play. I think I payed less than 15$ for the three of them. Amnesia: The Dark Descent Dear Esther The Dark Eye chains of satinav
Sorry Teddy Roosevelt, you have been replaced. Parrotmath is now my hero! Seriously though, someone needs to start paying you for this stuff.
Ever fix the mercenary cost?
Scions are really only useful if you have the ability to train them and be higher level. They can be very useful, but usually only in the later part of the game, you know, when you've already won.
It's automatic unless you manually turn off automatic patching. [e digicons][/e]
What I don't understand why people bother to play games they find too easy, and then post on a message board and complain about it. How insecure must someone be to feel the need to brag how good they are. There are a million different games out there. Just put LH down and move on.
Agree.
One thing that might help the Devs is for you to put up a save game where you have played awhile and are winning and they can take a look at the strategy you are using and then make adjustments from that.
