I got 8 out of 10 right, the two I missed I had never heard the terms before. I did better than I thought.
Lord Xia
Doing some retro gaming this weekend, breaking out the Panasonic 3DO and my stash of fairly terrible games for it.
I hated to fight shrills before this change.
I always hated that my bard got the shield proficiency but couldn't cast spells with a shield equipped...oh, I am going on a weird tangent now...
I'm not at my computer, but I'm pretty sure I agree with Trojasmic. Especially with blind. What a turd spell that is now, it's only useful to cast on things you don't need help killing.
The biggest problem with anything that does damage is trying to balance it against 3 different types of enemies. Single champions, who tend to have hit points of about 20-50, grouped beings like little monsters or soldiers who could have anywhere from 10 to 100s of hit points and big monsters which could have 50 to 1000 hit points. A spell that does 20 points of damage to a soldier group may be nothing at all, while to a champion is life threatening, and to a big mo
Exactly. So if my arm is at rest, the point is at the side. I can't remember what it looks like in game, so I will have to look later today when I am home.
I'll have to take a look, it kind of depends on what their stance is. At rest the shield would be sideways, in a defending position the point should be down.
Well, first seasons of Sci-Fi shows are often not that great. But they tend to get better. After the first season is over, then I will say if it is or isn't fully promising yet. [e digicons]:D[/e]
I'm really liking Defiance so far. Some of the acting from secondary characters is piss poor and it's a bit silly at times, but overall I like it. I think it can be promising.
Yep. an oldie but a goodie.
Well, in the old, old days of WoM, you couldn't use the big races because the gear wouldn't fit them. But I don't think FE/LH does gear the same way from troops and champs as it did for WoM, so I don't know if that is still the reason. Maybe lore? Although Wraiths can be played kingdom side.
THat's one of the big flaws in the game, having to try and balance a group of guys using the same bow as 1 hero. Troop gear and hero gear should have been completely different or they should have made troops function as an individual instead of multiplying things. They've done an excellent job balancing it, a lot better than I thought possible, but it will always be flawed.
I think the's the good question. What is a druid in Elemental? I know what a druid is in D&D and WoW and Palladium, but what would constitute a druid in Elemental?
" Removed the wage cost form Knights of Asok, Mercenaries (gained from the camp) and Hunters" Yay! Praise Kael! Glory Day, Glory Day!
Also the game uses 8 sided grids, they look like squares but function like octagons so you can swarm with a massive 8 people and can't defend against it even with standard formation with soldiers shoulder to shoulder because the enemy can still have 3 people attack one guy.
We can be friends Brad! Good friends! We can tell each other secrets! We can drink tea together! Make out! Play games together! We can build a fort under the covers together, but don't invite the wives! Did I mention I keep secrets?
It's the hypnotoad.
Wait, this isn't a bug? Level 8 village with only 88 population, no defenders and almost no buildings?
Hey, we've almost beaten that bug, gotten it down from a level 20, good work team.
I'm pretty disappointed at the amount of bug fixes, when I see how many bugs are still around.
The list is just started, by the time it's released, it will be much longer.
Removed upkeep cost from Mercenaries like the Knights of Asok?
Now you will never be rid of Altarian Herpes.
In FE, you could only expand into a forest and be able to build a lumber camp IF your city started directly diagonal from a forest. So if you started right next to one, you could build right away, if diagonal, you had to expand a bit, and any further than that, you couldn't build one ever.
There really isn't a good reason to want War of Magic when FE and LH are available, they are just way better. Unless you liked Dynasties, minor factions, boats...no, still not worth playing.
