The throwing knives when added to troops, should work like other attacks and be multiplied by the troop number. Right now, 7 guys with knives do the same damage as one.
Lord Xia
God damn Fall From Heaven was awesome.
The stardock forums are really something special. There was some forum bullshit when WoM was released, but it was a bad game and it still wasn't anything compared to what some good games get on their forums, like XCom, Fallout3, or CivV. We forum posters in general tend to be easily upset and sent into hyperbole filled rages at every little issue. It sickens me to the point I can't handle most forums and have been kicked off because I have a bad h
autoresolve doesn't work amazingly in general, i feel. The unit with the lowest defense seems to almost always take damage, even if it's an archer and you\re facing a horde of slow moving melee creatures. restricting mana usage would be nice, yes ^^
Yep, what I notice too.
Every Sovereign has a profession that gives them a boost and makes them special compared to your average Champion. Lets break them down. Feel free to disagree and discuss. Adventurer This profession allows you to hire champions you have access to for free. Access is depending on kingdom/empire and tech research. How good is this? From the start this s
Yea, I did it once, but I got sick of fighting the wildlings in the same quest over and over, but that might be fixed now.
Altar influence spam with quest maps?
Could do it with Quenar slaves too maybe...
Tons of Juggs, inflated your score and scared the AI to alliance?
Yay, custom faction colors fixes! Years of bitching and it's fixed!
Is this thread even relevant any more? I haven't actually looked at it, but it's clearly very, very necro'd. It's a zombie apocalypse thread.
In WoM the settlers were like zombies, they would attack cities and there would be millions of them.
I didn't know race played a role in their price...
Fear and the fear cloak are different things.
Holy fuck, that is a big issue, never noticed it before. The AI does seem to have tons of these, I guess that's easy when they don't get consumed. Are you 100% sure this is going on?
It's intended, you don't get the champs army. Would be cool if you did and certainly needed as the high level champs are way too god damn expensive.
A lot of my plans are dictated by my faction/sov and my resources. Important things, don't group your Sov and your champions together. Split them up, search for loot, and pick your fights. I usually only have a few conclaves, 1 fortress, and the rest cities. My first city can be anything, although I tend on fortresses or city for my first one. I find it useful to have an early and well built fortress a
I Guess I will play along too, but I doubt my list will be all that different. I think we all have a pretty solid agreement on what are the best races and what are the worst. Top 5 are all Good races. 1. Trog 2. Men 3. Krax 4. Ironeer 5. Quendar Medium races, not as good as the top 5, but usable and can be fun. 6.Urxen 7. Tarth 8. Mancer Bottom rung 9. Amarian 10.Wraith
They can't capture Ophidians the last time I checked, as they are immune to everything, but that might change in the next patch. Not sure they were suppose to be immune. Haven't tried it on Naja.
I thought in the swamp, you just had to kill Swampthing and it turned over? The big fuck wandered out of his swamp and held a pass between me and Yithril who were at war once. Yithril attacked him with a bunch of Juggs, and almost killed him and I can and stole the glory and the wildland cleared up.
I crashed pretty often with WoM, but almost never with FE. With FE, I crash as much with it as I do with any other game I play. FE has some memory leak issues and hangs after awhile, but I can save it when it does and just exit and load back up the game and I have lost nothing, so I don't really mind too much.
The funny thing is, that Influence is suppose to be traded to the AI for peace treaties, materials and shit like that. But, they don' value it very high. I think Influence is worth 2 gold to them. But if you need Influence to build a resource or henchman and want to trade for the influence they have, it cost 100 gold per influence. It's pretty fucking ridiculous. Also, unless you have the Heroic faction trait, you will never have very much Influence. &nbs
Mancers don't get Warhorses or Bazaars, that comes from Legacy of Serrane. And I would put Krax closer to the top, but other than that, I agree to everything you have said in the OP.
Good point. I don't have 100% answer to give you, so I am going to refrain from answering.
This is copied from something I posted on another website when this was asked. It has a few uses and is more useful depending on what leader/faction you are playing. For the average nation, you can use it to build things like ogre camps, mercenary camps, dragon lairs, those things if you have researched them and have the map resource. Also, you can use them to trade for more useful stuff from the ai, like gold, metal, etc. Also, if you want to build Sions, you wil
