Yea, the Drath were in little villages like Knights of Asok and Ogres are now. And are Drota and Wildlings the same thing? I'm totally confused by that bit of lore, maybe the heirgamsthing says.
Lord Xia
I think too many people get there knowledge of weapons and armor from games, video games or things like Dungeons and Dragons. Understand that games tend to want to balance things and make them fun to use, not be as historically accurate Take the Scythe in D&D 3rd edition. This was the weapon of choice for power gamers, 4x criticals. Do you know how Scythes were really used in war? By peasants who moved the blade so it worked like a really shitty sp
Is it anything like Primal Fear? I love Ed Norton and think Richard Gear is dreamy.
Well, if they were going to pick one single path to make every single Sov have, I guess it's the best choice. Overall stupid thing to do though.
I'll Work on having the Altarians in the game. Done! I might have made them too good, they have the ability to make their own champions and can do an endless amount of quest. I have been thinking of making a Drath race and faction mod. If you don't know, the world of Elemental is the same as the world of Altaria, so that means that the Drath are also of this world and were in the last game, WoM.
Japan had 7 foot horse bows.
After many, many hours of gameplay, I have noticed that every single Sov chooses "Path of Assassin". It's pretty fucking lame and boring. I assume that the champs and sovs simply pick what ever the first level up perk is on the list, and Assassin is always first. Would be nice if a better system was developed. Seems kinda half-assed. Maybe a sov that starts off with Summoner or Warlock should have path of the Mage? You guys made a great game, and I hate
- Have web ability also decrease accuracy and spell mastery since the unit is entangled. That's a really good idea, since the AI tends to target those units and it's wasted on them. Making it hurt accuracy and spell mastery would make sense and make it more useful. It doesn't seem to actually help the spiders much as is.
The tactical battles are pretty flawed and even though range on bows and spells is something that good tactical battle games have, in FE it would just cause a dominoes effect of problems. It's so flawed, I just can't think of a way to fix it and not make the whole thing worse. I agree in principal, but in this game the way it is, it's just not going to work.
I think the Druss sword got a serious nerf though, and really shouldn't be a level 18 weapon anymore.
This is a melee hero, or at least path of the warrior with strength and +1 hp per level, recruitable level 7 hero with 36 hp! He should have far more than that.
Actually, I think level 7 with +1hp would be 36. base 15+ 3hp per level, 15+21 = 36.
Is this the old knight from the quest? EDIT: No it's not, ignore me
Derek, maybe you should tone down some of the items level restrictions, a lot of the items that have level restrictions that are very high have had their damage reduced and now the level restrictions seem silly.
It's beautiful!
You should have to make important decisions about where to place your cities. I like having to make hard decisions like that, meaningful ones.
Don't change it, it's fine.
Not a bug.
All true. [e digicons]:D[/e]
Well, no I don't...icky.
I want Henchchickswithdicks!
That's a good point, always nice to make friends with Altar and Pariden for their nice gift shops.
General and wealthy. Air and/or life magic. Wealthy works really well for Capitar as they start with civics and can rush from turn one. Also, I wouldn't recreate Carrodus completely, as he is still in the game as a level 9 champion. Don't want two of them around...
Also, with Adventurer, Relias is probably the one person who needs it the least. Altar can make tons of henchmen, what does he need with free champs? Karavox needs it, with betrayer and adventurer, he could gather tons of champs. If Relias had Diplomat, he could use silver tongue and take an enemy unit every battle, he has near infinite influence. Krax would be better with an adventurer Sov and Altar would be better with a diplom
Can you build a Heroic+Wanderlust+Betrayers? That would be super powerful, but it would take 5 points and I think you can only take one disadvantage? Isn't heroic 2, wanderlust 1, and Betrayers 2?
I might have been overestimating how good Adventure is? But, I think, like anything you would have to tailor your gameplay to take advantage, but still pretty solid choice.
