Crossbow. Have we had crossbows and I missed it or are they new? I like crossbows.

I've never been a fan of real time strategy. There was a time when there seemed to be tons and tons of these RTS games coming out and I was begging for a TBS.
To get back on topic, this game reminds me a lot of Genghis Khan II by Koei, one of my favorite games of all time. In that game, you had to fight off the other warlords and become the leader of Mongolia before you could move on to attack the rest of Europe and Asia. At the Gates looks like it has a similar theme. Wonder if those older Koei game have any influence on this one? I'm going to follow the development and wi

You know, I always loved the idea of an ancient race of robots who were created by some ancient civilization now long destroyed, but the few immortal robots linger on. Old JRPG games like 7th Saga and Shinning Force had some really cool examples. Then I think I hated the idea after the D&D Eberon campaign setting, looked stupid then. But then again, there are many things that one brand of fiction does that I think is really cool, then I see the D&D version
Yea, I don't think Denmark has a strongly Jesus endorsed party like our Republicans. So, just assume you're going to hell for living in a nation ruled by the Devil. Probably true of a lot of European nations, especially those that rely on the secret Devil religion, "Science". I think I've gotten off topic here...

This man was at best a failure in his position as lead on civ 5 (which was fixed up and after quite a bit of effort is now a good game) and at worst a dishonest sell out who damaged one of gaming's best franchises. It prob was a good business decision by stard

I find Steam hate comical. Reminds me of my crazy religious grandma who would warn me of of how the Devil would corrupt me if I played Dungeons & Dragons, ingested aspartame, or voted Democrat. I find the arguments against Steam just as valid as my grandmas.
Oh frogboy, don't you get it? You can only love one game in a genre. It's even in the bible, "A man can only have one game, if he has two, he will love one and hate the other, Amen". Don't bother looking that one up, it's pretty hard to find...Sure, in reality, many gamers will buy and enjoy multiple games of the same genre, but not on the internet. On the internet, it's "Civ V or WoM", "Warlock or Fallen Enchantress", "AoW3 or LH".
I just saw in Jon Shafer's post that he has left Stardock to start his own company and Kay Fedewa is his artist. If Kay Fedewa is also the lead designer on FELH, then she is moonlighting. Is moonlighting legal in Michigan? Or one of them is a doppleganger. Will the real Kay Fedewa please stand up?
Stardock has cloning technology.
This game needs more robots.
enoeraew37 is someone that I have learned to not take very seriously. This is the poster who has brought us such brilliant discussions as "If a game violates core values is it ok for other people to play it? Other are enablers of said broken values and thus enemies of gaming?" and "Please change salted pork to salted fish or meat". There have b
Ok, I have read this thread and I am still unclear how this new expansion works with non-Steam FE. I pre-ordered the original War of Magic, so got FE for free, and now it sounds like I'm getting FE: LH for free (awesome btw). However, it sounds like FE:LH needs FE to run and since Steam installs things in it's own directory structure I just want to make sure it'll still work. I sounds like it will (guess it will det

This all sounds pretty good. I'm pretty excited about the skill trees and the new monster champions. Ogre champ sounds like fun. Little confused on who is getting the expansion free, as it sounds different than what was told to us originally. Can't be too upset, giving things for away for free at all is far and above what any other company has ever done. I must be remembering incorrectly, I thought early buyers of WoM, not just preorders, were g
I hope it allows dynasties too, deep ones with many choices. I want my Sovereign to impregnate an Umberdroth. And then the child will be raised by his Umberdroth mother, but once he starts to grow up he will recognize that he different than all the other terrifying nation destroying beast the other umberdroths are. He will leave his mother to seek out who he really is. He will then move to the East Village to pursue his love of dance, art and the ce
My brother rebelled against me last night. I captured him, and then blinded him. He rebelled again, so I kept him in prison a few years and then castrated him. I think he learned his lesson. Might have to kill his children too.
Well, we never had the options in CK 1 that the DLC provide in CK2.
Yea, gaming communities are usually pretty vile places. Stardock forums are an oasis in a vast and deadly desert of raging nerd hyperbole and entitlement. .
Kill children. Killing children solves a lot of problems. Or change the inheritance laws if you can. Hopefully, if you planned ahead, you took over another conty in the same duchy as your own so now you can become a duke? If not, you may have to do some murdering.
You don't really need the expansions, there are some that are kind of nice depending on your playstyle. I bought the Islam one, and have yet to ever play an Islamic character. For some reason, it doesn't interest me. But, I play a bunch of Orthodox nations, so Legacy of Rome was a good one for me. But if you just want to play a normal Catholic game, then you really don't need any of them.
I've always wanted to live on Mars.
I've got some experience with statistics (I had to take it in college and did mediocre in it). This isn't a good graph to really show a "trend". The scale should go from 0 to 100. Also, there are too few scores. Also, reality check. Getting a game review in the 90+ is exceptionally rare, and you simply can't consider that the standard to which you should compare all other released games. First game is a 95, all other games should be 90
