Obsidian is doing a RPG based on Dominions. It's going to be set after the conquest of Agartha by humans of Ulm, and be about humans living in Agartha and the mysterious slow extinction of the Pale Ones race. Well, maybe not true...but should be. [e digicons]O:)[/e]
The turn time is the thing one thing that bugs me about Stardock's games. In FE it's too long, in GC2 it's absurdly short.
That is soooo true about GalCiv 2. It seemed like I would start on my one planet...okay great...then spread across the galaxy with a trillion inhabitants over a hundred worlds in the span of...2 years? What, really? Bit of hyperbole, but that

I think Stardock should get the rights to make a Buck Rogers game. I'm not joking, that old Buck Rogers game I had on my Sega Genesis was awesome.

Yea, we know. It's crazy good. I hope they do something special with them in the expansion, making them still good, but not better than champions like they are now.

I've decided to post one more time on this topic regarding religion, to simply blast myself for being a hypocrite. I have read the bible in entirety more than once, and have read several passages several times. I have read the Koran and other books of religion and philosophy. And more importantly, I regard many religious teachers like Jesus very highly. I should never say that religion is all bad, or has not provided any good in this world when I can say that

It's not really my money after I pay taxes. When I buy a hotdog, once I pay, I have no ownership of what the vendor does with that money. I think people bitch too much about taxes and government. I think we Americans have grown very, very privileged living in a land that hasn't had the struggled and difficulties of the rest of the world. Maybe I am far too patriotic, but I find the stability, freedoms, and general living condition provided by our government

Religion can do nothing good, that can't be done without the terrible baggage it comes with. Did religion do something good with Malcolm X? His beliefs that the races couldn't coexist was a foundational belief of the religion he believed the Nation of Islam(not to be confused with Islam itself). So being introduced to people of other sects of his religion, helped remove his racist beliefs of his religion. Just more evidence of not needing religion in

What ignorance and cherry picking? I know more about religion that most, I have seen it's effects both in every day life and throughout history. There have been terrible and dangerous ideologies not based on religion, but that doesn't change how damaging religion is. Narrow minded because I refuse to give in to the PC ideology that all beliefs are wonderful and valid. They are not. Your imaginary friend saying it's wrong to eat bacon, bu

I have seen the damage of religion, not just in the big picture, but in the every day life. I live in Kansas. We voted to not teach evolution in schools, we have the vile Westboro Baptist Church and in my work at a hospital for the mentally ill, many people who work here believe our patients are infested with demons. Whatever good religion serves, it is overshadowed by it's evil and ignorance. I don't pride myself on being any type of intellectual&nbs

That coming from some one who made the ignorant claim that Hitler was an atheist and made implications atheism was related to millions of deaths. And it's not an opinion based on just a 'few", it's world history. It's current history. It's the basis of laws around the world that allow for the oppression of gays, women, and children. Wars, terrorism, child molestation all justified by religion. It's not a "few"

Haha, how many people with religion actually know their religion or have read their religious books? I use to get a laugh by asking Christians, "Christians were among the first religions to not practice animal sacrifice, why?" Not many knew. I have read the entire bible and Koran. They contain a great deal of wisdom, but their followers seem to ignore that and use it for hate. They are a detriment to society, vestigial remains of a barbarous time.<

My initial reaction is a kind of knee-jerk "EA is evil and this is going to herald the end of days for the gaming industry". But, it's probably not as bad as I am initially inclined to think. I don't like it much, I am more for the pay up front for a whole game and get free patches and updates, with later large expansions. But that's not the best business model, apparently. We'll see. I think that with digital distribution and crowd funding,
