I'm currently going to watch every Star Trek episode from every series. For some reason I am starting with Voyager. I watched the first few season when it was originally aired, but I think I then went to college and missed the rest. I'm re-watching them now and they are surprisingly good, I figured they would be the worst of them all, but I'm into the third season and really enjoying myself. I think I will watch DS9 after I&#39
Xia, I now own CK2. That's one less person you need to convert.
Ah, good, just a few billion more. New Pagan DLC coming out, get to play as a Viking in their last days of glory. Or a Zoroastrian, which is really what I am looking forward to, rebuilding the old Persian empire.

I would want a very simple crafting system. And have it be champion based. Get rid of the Path of the Governor and create a path of the Enchanter. If you have an enchanter, you can give him items and that enchanter can create magic items based on special ingredients from killed monsters, mined metal and crystals, mana and based on his magic paths. Also, special building could unlock special enchants or be required for some enchants.

I would go in a different direction, in ways I think many would cringe at. Because to me Fallen Enchantress is done and that game satisfies me in what it does, so I want a new and different game. I'm just going to go on a brainstorming rant and see where I end up at. Long meaningless post coming, read at your own risk. I would love a new fantasy kingdom game, but I would want a different one than any that are already out there. Not completely different,

I don't like it. I'm not in a nerd rage over it, but I don't like it. It's probably enough to keep me from ever playing Diablo 3 and SimCity. It's because I am only marginally interested in those games and this inconvenience is enough to nudge me in the direction of not buying these games. If it was a game I truly wanted, I would still buy it if it required always on connection. But it just sounds like a pain in the as

Everybody in the world should own Crusader Kings 2. I don't care if you don't want it, don't own a computer or are in a vegetative state. It's a fantastic game and all people of the world should own it.

God, Tao, I'm just laughing at you now. No more long rants, I'm just going to chuckle at you from a distance.

I really don't think it's quit as cut and dry as all that. I've heard many wonderful things about Finland, so maybe your perspective is more true than it would be for the rest of us. The rest of us have to work in places that are often flawed to do the work we want to do. I work with people who are disabled, right now I work with adults with mental illness in a hospital (asylum is the old word). I love my work, but find the system in which I am able to work to be

Fallen Enchantress (one example) is not made by forced labor and thats why its awesome
Totally, that's why we are all doctors, lawyers, CEOs and non of us pick up trash, flip burgers, and wipe ass for a living. I really doubt that the people who make game

I think I have read similar stories about Obsidian getting fucked around. I think they got payed shit for Fallout: New Vegas because their metacritic score was one point too low. They didn't really get to finish KotOR 2 because of deadlines, and have pretty much been struggling even though they have created some very great games (although often buggy). I really, really hope their their Eternity Project goes well. People&nbs

I'm not sure what my opinions of a "good name" are, or at least my opinions on how valuable it is. I've always thought that "Sins of a Solar Empire" was a fantastic of a name for any game, book, etc as I have ever heard. Never played it though. So no matter how cool I thought the name was, I have never played the game.

TAO, thank you for being a great example of an internet asshole. You are arguing against the use of a word I didn't use and attacking my "defense" of it, which I also didn't use. Get off your high horse, you don't know shit. Reading a few books and taking a few classes at the community college doesn't make you a civil rights leader. All you are proving is your desperate need to feel important and righteous. You are so desperate to make t

I'm a mix, I love having a lot of micromanagement, but then I think about games where I have to manage trade routes, and it drives me crazy. I can play a game like space empires where I am constantly moving populations of people to to different planets to maximize growth based on the air and type of planet they need to thrive, but the idea of managing a trade caravan in a game sickens me.

When I talk about hating gamers, trust me, I am not making myself an exception. As I have said many times, I am an asshole. Gamers, we, are a problem. Mental Retardation isn't the acceptable terminology for people with mental disabilities any more, IDD is, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Retard has gone the way of older terms, like Moron, Idiot, Cretin and Imbecile. Those were the old technical terms for people with mental di
I think of all the idiotic things I see people on forums say all the time without realizing that they're demanding others live up to standards that they themselves are incapable of maintaining. Nobody deserves to have hate thrown at them. These are fucking video games. If you don't like them, don't buy them. But your purchase doesn't give you the right to shit on other people. Sorry to be so harsh on this. It j
