I would like it if instead of a nation disappearing when a sovereign died, the nation would go into chaos and there would be a battle for the crown between heirs, like in Romance of the Three Kingdoms. I think Sovs should die of old age too. This would make the game dynamic. In fact, if you added random events like what GalCiv had, rebellions, battles for the throne, and all that goodness, the game could last forever! Maybe large nations break up into smaller ones

At war. Magnar attacked me with a ton of Sions. 4 groups of 9 stacks. I am thinking, wow, thats an expensive army. I can't compete well with that, so I go into diplomacy to make peace and notice that they are -17,000 gold in debt. Uhh...What? Well, I use diplomatic resources to make peace. And 2 turns later, he just declares war again. So lame, whats the purpose of diplomacy if they just keep declaring war? Oh well, with the Magnar cheatin
I had one wife of a kid that never lost mana. It was infinite.
I had a grandkid with 7 mov and I thought that was a ton, I can imagine what one with 15 would be like, haha.
Anyone understand why the Fallen races have strange Peasants? They have 8 hp and only 1 attack speed. um...why? And you can upgrade them with better equipment, although their choices are limited I think, or maybe it was because I first noticed this playing Kingdom Wraiths. And they don't look like Wraiths at all. Another lazy part on the Devs...At first, when I heard about the layoffs at Stardock, I felt bad for them, but now I just hope Brad laid off people that
That seems expensive, but I guess you could do it.
Works pretty well for me. Haveto use a few of them usually. Actually, don't think I have ever gotten any use out of cast any of these spells just once, its usually a big effort. But, shit, making and destroying mountains or creating land bridges should be. Have to make things level to make it work, takes some practice and multiple casting.
I have noticed this, it's crazy.
No shit? Well God damn! I need to actually start reading these spell discriptions. I'm going to have soooo much fun with that.
The Earth spells, raise land, lower land and Greater raise land can be used to turn water into land, so you can make land bridges, you can create mountains or make paths through mountains. I use it all the time. I created a land bridge to take an army to the north of an enemy and then used it to raise and lower mountains to create choke points. You can only use the spells in neutral or your own territory, you cant cast it in another's territory. I don't think you can u
Some races apparently dont get access to all the equipment that is listed when they gain a technology. No Master armor leggings? Only Heavy master leggings? Only some races get Scale mail? There is a second sword listed with Claymore, but the race I was using didnt get it...
I was making a Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior) joke. Old NES RPG.
I created a new nation, Empire, Race "Men". They were not able to use the Sion temples they built. There are so many things in this game that were overlooked before release that should have been noticed before it was released. I get attacked by magnar armies wearing human armor that doesn't fit them and their chest are clipping out of it, looks terrible. Nobody notice this before release? Really?
My games get well over 700 turns and about that time is when I start to crash every ten turns or so. Pain in the ass.
The bettles are fine, they can get massive later on. Like I said earlier, I had a battle at the end of the last game I played that had my Sov, that same dragon, and about 100 soldiers against an army of about the same size. I should have taken a screen shot or something, I might still have a save game from it.
They seem to if I autobattle, strange things seem to happen in those autobattles...
If you have the resources to make an archer stack with a longbow, okay armor and some magic attack raising items, it's Bill Paxton in Predators, "Game over man, game over!"
Also, I want to say, that I want there to be powerful monsters hovering at the edge of civilizations, keeping the wilds of the world...wild. Keeps the city spam down and the feel of the game more adventurous for me.
If you are a kingdom, you should be able to produce a 4 stack unit of maces that have 24 attack and 20 hp, with even more defence. I think you can do leather and have 12 or so. Can beat down those mobs.
It should be something like in Crusader Kings and some other paradox game, in that game you could only easily declare war on infidels, Muslims, Pagans, and such. But to declare war on a fellow Christian, you had to have some reason, like a claim to their title or they did something bad to you.
Totally, I miss units doing things like the sprites in the old Ultima games that looked like they were constantly doing jumping jacks, that was awesome.
I had a big Dragon Quest problem too, Had a hell of a time fighting that Knight to get Erdricks armor and killing that dragon to save the princess...
Completed the egg quest. Dragon said she would join me, NO DRAGON. Game still constantly crashews. ELEMENTAL HAS STOPPED WORKING, and multiple OUT OF MEMORY messages. Very poorly designed game
Crashews are my least favorite nut.
I had a battle with over 100 soldiers and a dragon, and a wizard on my side vs about 80 of the same on the other, that was pretty massive, how massive do you want?
Really? I know the Egyptians and some other really ancient cultures did that, but I thought the later civilizations married cousins, not sisters.
