Oh, and Nym is a stud in the early game. He slices, he dices, and eventually he will find a essence potion. I've thought about playing as Calis, but does he have the ability to use elemental spells? I noticed that none of the Embers characters have any spell schools.
Lord Xia
Thanks Brad, but what about the Iru? And what about Wraiths? I didnt see any Wraiths mentioned in the book.
I think you should be able to design your spouse and advisor the same way you design your Sov. I wouldnt give them essence to start with, or access to all the abilities that the Sov has, but a general design would be nice. And as for looking for a good wife? Well, there is some truth t that, but most kids end up with something close to all 10s in their stats no matter what and only the female children have the traits of their mother, so they are passed down to daughters who
I think Boogie or someone said there would be something this thursday.
They can, just choose not to. Vulgar display of power. That, and that soldiers that have magic, can only use it for their special abilities, not spells like a channeler. But, then if the familiar doesn't have special abilities, then why do they have magic at all? No fucking clue.
Those ideas are just too complicated. We need to balance realism, simplicity, and fun factor. One, I still stand by that soldiers should not gain experience, and should just be stuck at the level they were trained at, as they should be expendable and not so greatly out do champions. Two, I believe in diminishing returns of stack attack and def skills. Or at the very minimum, the def skill. Meaning that if the first unit has a 10 DEF, every unit after that doesn't
I agree that more quest items and more abilities would be cool. Would make the game more fun. And I think that items found in chest should be quest exclusive, or items from other factions. Now all the items, like armor or weapons, are kingdom items. Also, would be cool if at least every race could wear that special armor you can find. Stuff like that would be great. Random quest and events would make the game a lot more fun, especialy if they have unique or
The way he wourded it, you should be able to continue your save, I think thats why he said you could play and build your shit until the fix is out.
If they increase the movement and speed penalty of the heavier armors and introduce initiative based on speed, then heavy armors start having a greater drawback. Big problem right now is that all the heavy armors have the exact same penalty for speed. And you get master heavy armor and master armor at the same time. It's just a difference in cost, but should be more than that. Each armor should provide a fairly equal cost/reward benefit. And I think Scale an
Ooh, how about unit weapons like magic wands, so instead of having a unit of archers, you could have a unit of wand users shooting fireballs or some shit? That would be nifty. Could be balanced the same, or be a higher level tech.
I'm gettting less OOM errors with every patch, but, yea, still getting them, and I'm on a 32 vista.
Magic robe armor would be a good idea too, and magic staffs. Some of my champions, I want to make them have a "Wizard" feel to them and right now, It's all about heavy armor on everyone.
I think that any champions that belong to a nation that has been destroyed, but were not killed in battle, should become free heroes that can be hired.
I've done this quest a dozen times, and this is the only result I've ever gotten. If there is more, I don't know what it is.
Has anyone else had the phenomenon of grandchildren (or great grandchildren, etc) joining defeated nations because they have blood ties to them and then becoming the King or Queen? Ive had it a few times and ran into them. They don't move, are usually stuck on some other nations capital, but you can interact with them the same as if they were a neutral faction. When you start the dialog with them, there throne room is empty, but you can trade items and make treaties. I
That's a good question. With Invisibility, or masking I think it's called, would provide a lot of interesting possibilities, like spying and ambushes. Eating darklings sounds expensive, unless you happen to run into wild ones. I think Nym got energy from eating anything. He's really fun to play in the game too, should give it a try, he's super fast and has an off hand weapon that would be bad ass if it was incorporated for other uses, like other heroes or units.&
Also, I want to say, I love the Special download map. I manipulated it last game so it ended up as me(kingdom) on the Western continent and Kraxis on the East, both massive empires and had a land bridge created to connect them. Had a lot of fun.
I've had this happen ever since I have played this game. Sucks. Although I found out if I create multiple nations with the same name, I can have troops of all races and colors, haha.
I finished reading the Elemental novel today, and I thought it was pretty good. Had a hard time starting it, but once I did, I really got into it. Few questions. Who exactly was Mirdoth? Dread lord turned good, like the opposite of Talax, an Arnor turned bad? Or was he someone more specific from the past and what exactly is the deal with him and the King? What are the Iru, are they in the game at all, are they Wraiths? If they are not in the g
Yea, the references to the hostility where toward me.
Plus, whats the point of Elementium, when the armor it creates isn't even the best, or even close? Heavy Master armor is far better, and all you need for that is a bunch of iron. Would be a lot cooler if this rare element could be produced to make something really good.
Yes, it was one of those two. I kept reloading and doing the combat with the spider for the short sword over and over, and neither one died, but after the combat was over, one simply wouldn't be there any more.
I tried to start the campaign yesterday, but every I left combat, one of my heroes wouldn't be there, and no they didnt die in combat, they simply vanished. Not the same problem as yours, I just didn't feel like making a new thread.
Eh, my bad, no reason for me to be so rude.
Can we increase the minimum distance between cities and increase the likelihood of special resources clustering? If they cluster more, I dont need to create more cities to get them all, and if they have to be farther apart, I can't make more cities. I think that would really help the city spam.
