The game has two big problems for me: Blandness and unbalanced. It is bland in story elements, bland in appearance, armor and weapons are pretty boring. The more I have been playing it, the more I have really, really been liking it. After the jarring lack of common RPG options has finally worn off, the characters and story are really, really good in my opinion. Still don't like a lot of changes and still consider the origional better, but this game does have a unique and interesting story.

Are you sure your fundamental assement of DLC not working is accurate? I have a strong feeling that it IS working and it is working well for the businesses that use it. I admitedly didn't read much of your post, so I might be mistaken. It might have a bad reputation, but that doesn't keep people from buying it.

I don't think you used your talents and tactics right then. The idea was to have tanks to taunt and tank, set mages to ranged. Tactics made the difference. I never got the idea that people in DAO ran around all crazy like...

Here's the thing, the non magic Book Sovs, have super powers. Xanders kids will be able to cast and his male kids will cast AND have his traits. They are gods. It's not an oversight, those characters are not chanellers in the book, but they have special traits to make up for it.
