They hired Jon form Firaxis to improve modding in Elemental games. Right? I agree, that before they made it a smaller priority, but I think they are trying to improve that.

I bought this game, I was in target and they were selling it for $40. I'm a sucker for a deal. It's still more a sims game than a RPG by far. I don't play these games to "win" I play to play. I might spend an entire game terraform the landscape to make a funny shape, or leveling a hero I like. I play these games to experience the world itself and to see how it develops. And once I get tired of it, I start a new game. I am playing a game of Galciv now that I am building ships and simply supplying different sides of wars, just for the fun of it.

I'm just not sure what all this means just yet. I'm not ready to freak out.
