I have not seen that level of single unit winning in .982. Perhaps you could make a thread about it and show us your ingame progress?
Good suggestion, Sean. I'd be interested in reading a post about that, CogBurn. I've seen a lot of posts about it, but seeing how you do it would be helpful. I do think making towns more useful and interdependent with champions/sovereigns is a great goal for FE that would make it feel

Is it happening only with autoresolution? If you play out the battle is it fine?
And don't forget that only you can prevent forest fires. Yes. I should have had a V8. Back on topic, could you include info on how to take a screenshot easily in-game?
I wonder if part of the reason it's playable with 1 unit has to do with the campaign? I agree it shouldn't be possible (otherwise the rest of the game isn't worthwhile), but it may need to be a post-1.0 issue since some of the changes are more radical.

Wow. It was bad enough that weapons effect initiative even when not used in battle, but critical hits, too, is pretty crazy. Sounds like a post-1.0 release fix.
If you look closely, Mormegil is making a map stamp that spells out HELP!
LOL! I also noticed many people wearing headsets. Maybe that's to drown out Brad's voice repeated over the intercom every 5 minutes "GET TO WORK, MY SLAVELINGS!" Or would that be Derek?
i think thats the reason some staff has -crit to preclude the base crit chance of every unit
So, giving my mage a dagger with increased critical hits will help to critical hit with magic? If that's true, wow.

Some good finds/thoughts in the OP.
Good point, CyanPile. Healing doesn't scale and was even nerfed recently. Certainly Life Magic has some good spells further on in the progression, but healing should be upgradeable (let's say I want a priest-type character).
I agree they need to be nerfed. I'd also throw out that Quests that are labeled as easy should probably be able to be completed just by a low level sovereign. If not, they aren't easy.
This sounds similar to an older issue. There were cases when you would try to select something near a mountain and it wouldn't allow you to select it because the mountain was "in the way". SD updated the dragon animation. I'd speculate that's the cause of the problem. Maybe something where the box to select it doesn't match the model and causes problems on adjacent tiles?
I had no idea spells could do this. What are the conditions that trigger a critical? And how would you prevent them? I don't mind it so much, as long as there's some UI/info about the change of critical and certainly information about increasing/decreasing it.
Some great suggestions for improvements, many of which should be addressed before 1.0.
Last I knew when you would trespass in the AI's territory, you would teleport out somewhere. Does it do this to the AI when you tell the AI to get out?
Toby mentioned these were being updated, some in text and some in video. I assume the new ones will show up in version 1.0. There sure have been a lot of changes since they were created!
That's a high resolution! Does it happen when you notch down the resolution? Did this happen prior to 982? What video card are you using?
Agreed! It's very unfair. And you can't negotiate around that.
(this is before we put in the fix to enforce cooldowns in autoresolve).
Cooldowns would really help a lot. It'd prevent overuse of some abilities and still allow for some powerful abilities to have more than 1 use per battle. It could apply to both the AI and player, so there would be less opportunity for exploitation. Derek, you keep adding in awesomeness. How do you do it?
