Any chance of addressing edge scrolling in Tactical Battles? https://forums.elementalgame.com/434114

There was no way I could beat him, I had no way to disrupt his spell that would 1 shot my entire defensive force. So after 3 reloads and manual tries of trying to kill him I decided just to see about auto resolve and to my surprise it won the battle on the on the first try heh.
I thought this was supposed to be fi

I'm currently working on a couple more fun/old school surprises for you... hope you enjoy them as much as you do the manual
Please tell me that one of them is a copy protection wheel. In order to launch the game, you'll need to turn the wheel to find the right code. Ahh... so much of my childhood was spent fumbling through copy protection wheels. ;) Is the manual available on the re
Hilarious. All I can think of is that famous quote from Quest for the Holy Grail: RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!
Herbalist gives +1 mana. Apothecary gives +1 Mana, +1 Mana per Essence. So if your conclave was built in a location with no Essence it wouldn't offer an advantage and should probably be skipped. Its upgrades would be slightly better for your city, but are also powered off the city's amount of Essense, so not very good in that location. Alternatively if you select the Oracle at levelup you will get some Essen
Could someone confirm/deny this is a problem in 1.0?
While you're at it, did the problem with the Apothecary get fixed, too? https://forums.elementalgame.com/434047 I haven't checked this on version 1.0 yet. Edit: never mind. Got it figured out, than
I dont think that really fits what i was going for. That just means that Procipinee herself is such a disaster that even having her around the cities slows things down. She's FE's version of the US government.
What? Are you implying that US government interaction incurs a 25% penalty to productivity?! Hehe. Sounds like the effect of taxes to me.
Thanks, it is a rather weighty club. We noticed it during testing, but it wasnt a major issue so was pushed to a future patch/backburned. A workaround is to swap equipment with Relias as he will be able to carry it and not get over encumbered. We will have to nerf the club weight as a long term solution though.
In the interim, you could just change that character to starting with the Backpack equipment? Or the Strength attribute.
Impressive you were awake enough to check grammar. Usually that's the first thing to go! :)
Well, that's not at all what intended. Hmpf. K, it will be fixed in the next patch, thanks for the feedback.
So it's supposed to be an empire-wide negative? If that happens, Praiden will be even weaker than they are already! How about a compromise- production is slowed down while the Soverign is in their ZoC?
How do monsters in the environment level up exactly? Just over time? If so, how?
I've had the same issue. Running as an administrator once as was suggested above fixed the problem when I then created a new game or started the scenario over. However, the forest graphics remained missing if I loaded a saved game or the play through of the scenario I had started.
From what I've heard, I think saves contain XML data. If that XML doesn't include forests (like when you started the game), they won
I downloaded the whole thing directly from the Stardock store without issue, but good to know about the Stardock Central option.
It may even make you better at your day job. I didn't know what flookup was until I made the fall from heaven editor.
How does one perform their daily job without flookup?! (I actually don't know about flookup; probably should check that out; assume it's short for function lookup)
There is an option to limit your zoom level.
Wasn't a complaint, just a question, as I knew about the zoom level option. Didn't see a note about this in the release notes. Probably also like how Animation Speed in Tactical Combat was slowed to 1x instead of 2x like it was before.
Where is fast map transition, I have not found it in the options, is it called something el
I noticed the delay between the cloth map and regular being pretty slow (I have an older video card- 9600GT). The option for "Fast Map Transition" was added. It's really great! I can move between cloth and 3D really smoothly. Thanks, SD! Also, has the zoom level been increased by default, too? I can really zoom into my units (didn't seem like I could do that before).
This is still an issue for 1.0.
Confirmed this is still an issue for 1.0.
Confirmed that the behavior is the same in version 1.0 (which is what I expected).
Same issue for me. I did a complete uninstall of the old version and cleaned out all my old Stardock locations (games and Program Files). After running again as Administrator showed up the forests for me, too. I did some further testing and once I ran as Admin, I didn't need to run as Admin any more to see forests.
This thread can probably be removed now. Don't need people seeing it now that 1.0 is out.
We'll try to avoid all of the blood, sweat and tears on the digital pages, knowing it was a labor of love (or a task passed down by overlord Derek).
That's definitely a strange few bugs. One thing you could test- it does have a list of activities in the log at the end of combat. Maybe you could identify the point at which you auto-resolved and see what it listed as happening during combat. It's almost acting like it's not taking the current condition of your army into account for the remainder of battle. We'll have to try it out with 1.0 when it's out tomorrow to see if that's still present.
Jack's pretty amazing. That's dedication to the English language! (and Stardock)
