I wonder with the changes if monster attack values/HPs will also need to be tweaked as well?
Lord Reliant
It's not surprising some balancing changes need to happen given all of the tweaks to balance in LH. Good suggestions, ideas, and looking forward to seeing the new improvements!
In general, the pathfinding in LH has improved greatly, especially with the ability to see a path a unit will take. However, even with the improvements here there's a very good reason to add in waypoints for units (so click once for the first point, again for the second, etc.). Let me give an example: I recently settled city. I wanted to send a unit there, but the default path that was generated sent my guy past some pretty nasty monsters. Instead, I would have loved to set a way
I'm curious how this will be fixed. Would the champion selection screen show both champions with one shaded out? Or will it draw from a pool of these guys, just with the ones already chosen never appearing.
We'll all expect to see some fixes coming for the Map Pack. :) Man, think of all of the dev hours saved, just by Parrottmath!
Hmmm... That picture in the OP isn't appearing.
Would it make more sense to change it to medium and heavy armor proficiency instead of chain and plate? Seems like that would also accommodate adding in the requirements for shields better. I'm all for having a tower shield require plate proficiency, but the term doesn't make as much sense. You could then also make it so that some/most shields require the medium armor proficiency, too.
It would be nice if wildland monsters stayed in that zone of control. That would resolve a lot of these problems. Granted, it certainly makes games more challenging if monsters come out of there, but it also creates a LOT of other issues (ending the game prematurely, strange AI issues, trying to locate each rogue monster to fully defeat the wildland, etc.).
Did you install special software for the Logitech G9x? If you recreate it, share it out. Derek and SD are always interested in compatibility fixes for their games (which is what makes them so great).
Woah. Parrotmath, if you get a job at SD, promise me I'll get a tour! I hear Michigan is lovely in the spring. :)
Parrotmath, when are you going to work for SD full-time? You rock!
Maybe an AI thread got stuck? Though usually when that happens, it results in a crash instead of a delay.

I'm not sure if this might help Stardock, but maybe you could answer a few questions: 1. Are you video drivers updated to the latest versions? 2. What are your computer specs? Video card, processor, RAM, OS,etc. 3. This is a far shot, but do you have a special mouse of some sort? I'm thinking a gaming mouse in particular, one that may have software to adjust values like mouse sensitivity or scrolling? 4. The crashes will create a debug.err file. Can you
It's released!

I had this issue a while back with Conclaves. Confused me, too. Thankfully Derek chimed in (like in this thread). Would be nice to have the improvement shaded out with the reason it can't be built.
Can we blame Ongr for the mis-spelling? Or maybe the fix?
We have a bug in for it to have a developer look at what is happening. I would like to have it show up greyed out with the worst weapon (with the desc on what is needed). We will check.
That sounds like a great solution. Was about to suggest it. Still shows info and the path, which is helpful.
Wow that site has a lot of ads. And like mentioned above, the info therein was nothing profound. Certainly nice that a site has LH news, though!
To muddy the waters further, is it possible that another monster unit could attack the guardian and wake it up? That would suck if a darkling attacked it, only to be destroyed but unleashing it on the countryside!

Frogboy said elsewhere they'll be releasing this possibly later this month. Patience.
LH continues looking better and better. Anyone else find it strange that Naegach is on the Mage path but carries a shield?
I'm not in any sort of exile. I was at Disney World. Just got back.
Sorry you had to come back to such a greeting as this thread. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] SD has been very generous in communicating about patches and replying in threads. I think some time off for Brad and others is a great thing, even if it means the forums are dull.
