Okay, thanks. I was just having a little fun there, but it still seems odd...I mean, we were building factories in the 1700's or as early as the 4th century, depending on what you call a "factory". The idea came to us long before we thought we could actually GO somewhere else.
I think it's meant to be a sort of useful space age, colony supporting factory rather than say a factory that is just churning o

I remember, back in the day, when all this was empty space, there was a "Hull System Mod" for Gal Civ2. This basically unshackled you from the set race specific hulls and attachments and gave you a whole heap of extra options for ship designing. I've had a root around but have not found the same for Gal Civ3. Does such a thing exist?

I get a crash occuring more often than not where the game is loading/starting and the screen goes black then a chunky boz comes up stating that the graphics driver has stopped working As far as I can tell the graphics drivers are upto date, not sure what else to do, usually play with a mod loaded debug file below Debug Message: Version v2.03 Twilight of the Arnor last updated on: Thu Jul 23 11:47:38 2009 D

not got TA yet waiting for any bugs to get squashed but the individual tech tress and the super humungous map should make a warhammer 40,000 (or as i prefer to pitch it a 30,000 / slightly pre heresy mod) more realistic we shall see also if any one wants to download my 40k mod and build on it then please feel free.

i think the problem was that kenweb put in all the hulls which meant that you did not have to buy dark avatar to get the new hulls and jewelery and such. Kryo's hull mod copies the hull files you already have installed and makes generic jewelry out of what you have. which is a shame cause all the old ship packs, bsg and star wars were stonking, i thought you could get an IP (accursed market distoring IP!!!!) friendly version at the cybertron shipyards these days?

Newer version has a ton of extrra building that kenwebb let me pinch out of his battlestar mod the mans a genius

I downloaded your old bsg mod with massive extra tech tree and fixed the odd thing where the photos weren't showing up on the planets. I was thinking about jamming in it with my 40k mod as an updated version would you mind?

perhaps, but perhaps not. if evidence shows the theory to be incomplete or innacture, it will be changed to fit what the evidence shows. that's why it's a theory and not a fact. whether or not such evidence will be found is another question. it is possible that E=Mc^2 does indeed describe an aspect of the universe perfectly, but as a man-made label we can't even positively know if it's 100% accurate ah i see where we differ now. Your worried it

i think you missed my point did you read my post? you pretty much repeated what i had just said and raced off on a tangent away from what i was saying. Your comfusing man made with man labeled. True you will not find E=MC2 written down on an atom (least i don't think you will) but that dosen't mean you can change it. you could call it D=TP4 having changed what the D T P and 4 stand for, essentially swapping the label but the same result would en

ah yes right, science is essentailly imperfect and is constantly refined by people going "oh turns out i wasn't quite right in that we have discovered this missing peice and our knowledge is enhanced" you know the old quote about larning only helping you realise how great your ignorance is? where as religion is all "this is the word of thew supreme creator being who is omnipotent and omniscenent and numerous other omni words" and yet has holy books and interpretations have the feel

just a quick post so i can keep an eye on this post from 'my replies' anyone else find religion depressingly man made? would have expected a better job of it had it been done by some supreme being.
