Multiple heroes in a stack split the exp between them.

Extra note on the Elves. If the 30-pop Pioneer change goes through as written, the Elves will be severely crippled in the early-mid game due to the double whammy of 20% lower population growth AND no Tower of Dominion.
Pioneers cost 30 population when trained
I am really happy and really concerned about this, all in one. The happy part is in stopping so much city spam, as a 30 pop charge on making pioneers will really really slow down city advancement. It implements a true cost to expansion, other than just diluting your prestige a little. Now we come to the problem. What if I want to skip the 2/3/0 and 3/3/0 spots near me to go for a 3/3/2 far
Elven mages in green robes on black deer look very nice. Well done on the artwork.
Since pioneers use 30 pop, how about changing scouts so you can use them to found outposts?
Anyone know if Bloodthirsty will kick in with the second and subsequent swings of a mauling attack?
Having played with this a little bit I think it's too strong of an improvement. No research required, just snake towards some swamps for great benefits. Maybe tune them down to +1, with an upgradable building for +2.
Tech up for Maces (or spears early on) and use leather armour + shield. Then go take resources from everybody else.
Shadows: I really like Shard Duality. Opens up quite a few possibilities and is a fun mechanic. Early on it is very easy to run out of shadow resources, so you cannot create new units. Especially true if you are making spearmen, scouts, and pioneers. It is somewhat constraining but not overly so, and is an interesting mechanic. The main issue I have with it is that it makes queuing up multiple units for construction to be annoying sometimes, as
Changelog looks interesting. Not sure about the balance changes but we'll have to try it and see. Are you going to update your download?
-4 Init is a pretty tough thing to swallow sometimes. You can't just look at the damage, need the whole picture. As well, the only way most people get their trained units to high (> 10) level is through reloading a lot. In the normal course of things there is a lot of attrition. Some units will make it, but most will not. You can't balance the game against someone whose units never die. BTW I don't consider reloading to be c
Misc: Playing the Frost Giants, and Hofund REALLY loves her Infinite Healing Potion. Such a neat idea. Fire's heart gives a really weird message in combat - 'Bracers Broken'? The penalty on the Blight Ring always seemed a little steep unless the hero had bigtime regen or something, but by chance I have Jamzaxa, who is 100% poison immune. Ring is pretty spiffy now =) How does Overpower work <span style="text-decoration: under
That is due to the fact that Refined Economy can be researched multiple times, giving the benefit each time. I'll admit the description isn't very clear though =\ There are quite a few endgame techs like that.
Umm Wolfmen 3-man units are extremely strong when you tame them with Hofund. Did you mean for them to be tamable?
Bug: Ovoz has a trait which causes his Empire to gain mana whenever he personally slays an enemy. Works great, except in auto-play where it doesn't work at all. Possibly a vanilla issue, as I am assuming you copied the Wraith trait?
I have chosen to end a quest that was beyond my capability (at the time) because the destination spot had appeared directly on top of the most fertile tile in the area and I needed it to plant a city.
I used to run one major fortress (with X-3-2 or better), but the new city changes at L3 have been leading me to try two fortresses instead (one w Charge and one w Impulsive). After that anything with 2 essence turns into a conclave, and stuff with 0-1 become towns.
Bug: Wolfman Deathward resurrects them at full health, not half health as the spell and tooltip state.
I will commonly give a governor hero a strong army and level them up quickly, then plant their butt in a city for a long time.
Good luck with the Gravewardens!
Likely do not have one of the other underlying technologies.
Trying out the Lizardmen for the first time. Faction Notes:
The popup says 'You found some gildar from past victims' or some such.
Mouseover the terrain, even though it looks like plains it might be a river.
EDIT: O heay...question: On Angels the bonus to "Arcane Attack" they get from life shards...is that an attack bonus for physical attacks (Basically a non-elemental bonus) or a bonus to damage for spells?
It is on their physical attacks. Works very nicely.
