Quoting GFireflyE, reply 1 Notice that the first thing he mentions is not enough warning when a city is idle. And I scoffed and laughed. How could you possibly miss the blinking and fairly large ZZz on the screen? .
I miss it all the time. As I already wrote in one of my comments, the interface is poorly designed and non-ergonomic, because various related pieces of informa
It seems to me like a bug. Everything in the game suggests (Path of assassin, dagger bonuses) that "Critical hits" represent deft and skillful attacks against especially vulnerable parts of human/monster bodies. The skill itself represents the physical ability to deliver such attacks. It makes no sense to me it influences also spells.
The best way to run Windows 8... is to run away.
Stiff animations, does not say anything about the actual gameplay. Points down for a naked chick with a big gun - have low tolerance for these in "realistic" military games. Say... Mercenaries 3 wannabe?
I honestly think that Warlock - Master of the Arcane is better. It actually achieves what this game was trying to do - interesting combat, the impression that group of heroes goes as company and fights against all odds, and so on.
I second this opinion. In FE, there is obviously a lot of effort, and I applaud that, but there are better games out there. For me, game of the year 2012 is D
My Prediction - 78.
Let me recommend this an excellent indie game to your attention. Mark of the ninja is a 2D sidescrolling stealth-based game, evoking the glory of games like Saboteur on ZX Spectrum. The player controls a stealthy, nimble assassin whose task is revenge against those who wiped out his clan (yes, unoriginal, but ninja genre is very strict ;-). The game really shines in little details that enhance and freshen the gameplay. For example, your character is fully colored when in the light, but white-
Thousand thanks to you, kind sir, now I know I have finally the correct installer, after trying 4 times yestarday.
I am now downloading from Linux, cannot run the game to verify, can anyone post hash of the correct, uncorrupted installer, so that I can be sure my file is okay? Thank you in advance.
I tried to warn you all that this Internet thing was a fad. Did I not warn you? The Internet is a fad.
True dat, I hate them Internets, if only they did not put bread on my table... Thank you and no problem, I guess it's probably server overload, as always at release dates, etc. I will try tomorrow, or the day after, there is nowhere to hurry.
Tried the fourth time on my main gaming rig from Internet Explorer, the same result - corrupt file.
Well, it's midnight here now, I am giving up, will try to play the game tomorrow. Maybe the download server will be less crowded.
For me, the best open-world games were Gothic 1 and 2. I haven't played Skyrim yet, but Oblivion was ugly, consolised and dumbed down. The characters did not do anything, while in gothic they slept, forged weapons, talked to each other, even shouted at you when you trespassed. In Oblivion you can pick a house clean and the guy is still smiling at you. Morrowind killed the fun by having stupid combat system - "always use best attack" was in options, that is what you call "system"?<
It's store.stardock.com, sorry, the original Stardock distribution channel.
Three attempts to download, three times corrupted, two different browsers (Chrome and Firefox). Anyone else having this? I never had problems downloading files before.
It did not work for me, tried 3 times in two different browsers (Chrome and Firefox). I have no firewall app preventing me from downloading, I have no problem downloading files from any other sources. Downloading 10+GB for nothing is not cool. I have downloaded from Stardock Store. Anyone else having problems? It seems strictly server - side to me (network interface overload, packets dropped, etc).
Try updating/repairing the 2008 version of .NET. Just a hunch though.
On the other hand, I always start with a campaign if the game has one. For one, the first levels are usually a tutorial, so you get the basics quickly, and the campaign also introduces you to the lore and the story (if the game has one), which at least in my case, really helps the immersion. I admit I play games mainly for the story, and I always loved historical campaigns in strategy games.
And once again, corrupt. Hardly a coincidence - either my broser is bad, which I doubt since I have no problems otherwise, or the server is overloaded and drops connections. MD5 or SHA checksums would be nice.
Those lead-iridium leg plates do not seem exactly light... good that he discarded all chest armor including the T-shirt to compensate, very practical battle gear, it makes you unable to charge or flee, yet you still remain extremely vulnerable in all critical body parts like chest, stomach, neck, arms and head, lol. Okay, I forgot, he has bracers. He can just deflect all the attacks with forearms.
Try to delete the Fallen Enchantress directories under \users\ \Documents\My Games\Fallen Enchantress I had multiple numbered dirs, deleted them all. If that does not help, scour and purge the registry for any remaining straglers. If that does not work, wipe your Windows installation clean and install the game on a clean system. Accidentally, that's exactly what I did ;-)
"File is corrupt" Excellent! I love when that happens. Good that I don't pay for the data transferred. Once more into the breach, my friend!
Applications today are a curious bunch - they simply must tell their creators where do you live, what kind of neighbours live next to you, what games do you play, music you listen, if everything is legal, what rig you have and when you last upgraded, what size of shoes you wear and if they smell, do you have children perhaps, whose consumer needs have not been satisfied by the market? All that in the best interest of you, the valued customer no doubt, to better understand your needs a
I am downloading on my laptop, while I hastily assemble my main gaming rig - new GTX 670, Core i5 3570K, 8GB DDR3@1600 goes in, spiders, dust and old, charred components go out. No time to lose!
