5 Turns later (turn 41), get notice that Pariden is destroyed. Was that message supposed to say that Pariden has "entered" the wildlands, and not "conquered" them?

2 Games in a row now, I have gotten the message early, in this latest game at turn 36! that Pariden has conquered the Deossrynes (spelling I'm sure is off, going strictly from memory of a quick glance. That can't be correct can it, on turn 36?
I definitely believe the benefits, and my next PC will be getting (at least) one. What do you guys normally do as far as drive configs with SSDs? SSD all as one partition, or broken down, how many regular drives and what config? Thanks for any replies!

Now if you are saying smartphone plans are too expensive, well that is just a choice each person has to make for themselves, but do

Yeah, no doubt it is a nice phone. I think it'll just be person to person thing what the specific upgrades are worth. For me, kinda meh, but I may still upgrade to that. I really want to see a Lumia 920 in person and fiddle with it a bit.
Well that certainly didn't sell me on the iPhone5. May still get it, but now I think I'll wait until I can put hands on both the iPhone and the Lumia 920 and see which I like better.
Looking at one of the pics on engadget, looks like that guy was just doing a "call me maybe" spoof!

Going to watch live-blog of it. Maybe, depends on what I see. Currently have a iPhone4 (non-S), but the Nokia Lumia 920 looks pretty nice too! Don't boycott Apple, but I do only have two items, iPad2 and my iPhone. Don't really have much interest in their computers. As far as features, LTE for sure. I'd love for it to have NFC, but don't think it will, bet that'll be the rehash of this phone next year. The one thing I really wish it has that

But that's a reason for liking 3/3/2: the flexibility of switching the city back and forth among growth, research, and production oriented builds.
That is the absolute best part of the new essence system, it really helps make many more starting points acceptable or better.
I voted 4/2/2, but normally I mix that up during a game as I play, depending on the role I want a city to play.

They can promote the LOWER price....
Yeah, that was my point, when I bought the Kindle Touch 3G last year, they clearly marketed both prices, was wondering why they went this weird route this time to end at the same result, but look somewhat bad doing it.
That's what I mean about presenting it wrong. Instead of doing it like this with an opt-out, they should have done something like this: "Product costs 315, or buy the subsidized* version for 299."
Exactly how they did it the first time around. Wonder why they went the other route this time, foolish mistake.

By the time I have upgraded to a town and have a monument, (say season 70) I have the opportunity to build a horse pasture. At which point my hero can immediately purchase a horse, assuming he is moving in a small army, or with high mobility minions he will go from 2 -> 4 movement (assuming it took me 10 turns to get my hero back to my town and get all this done)

Just started a quick game and purposely did nothing but get to trading. For my first level up on city I even picked Fortress to make sure that the bazaar isn't a Town only building. Didn't build a merchant in that town even. As soon as I hit trading Merchantcross Bazaar is available to build in that city. Another possible reason you can't build is lack of space possibly? Are you surrounded by swamp tiles in that city? If so, you'll need to raise land on some tiles to c

I'm playing a relatively casual game with just easy opponents though. Went straight for Trading as my first research and still no Bazaar in the build menu.
Hmm, you have
In a strange twist, I actually found I preferred the ads on my Kindle Touch. Normally I always opt for the no-ad version if possible, but I gave it a try last year knowing I could easily opt out later for the exact same total amount of money as I'd originally bought the no-ads version. And I found the ads have steered me to some good deals and some books I didn't know about. I don't think I'd opt for them on a Fire (not knowing if they'd be multiedia ads) but for a plain j
Silly question perhaps but, did another player already build it? It a one-per game building.
This looks better, and the part that looks much better is lower on the screen. Look at "Equip Explore Guard" in the lower left. Much, much better looking IMO. It really looks much crisper and cleaner. Almost like I'm looking at a modern monitor ;)
