I couldn't install SMAC/X on W7 (64 bit) because apparently that game installs via a 16 bit installer (which W7 64x didn't have)...I was able to play the game by just copying the files to the hard drive, but there were issues with saving settings...
Is that with original disks? I re-purchased SMAC/X from GoG about 6 months ago, and didn't have too many issues getting it up and running. Believe there was one thing I ha

Gotta say, I'm really enjoying this game so far. Haven't had any issues at all in about 4 or 5 hours of play. Multiplayer I guess still isn't functional according to the forums, but they are saying they'll have a fix next week. Won't affect me at all, but good to hear they are on top of it for those who care.

I for one don't do asset production on my computer. I run business software (quickbooks, excel, word, cad viewers, etc.) and need multiple programs on my screen at once. Not to mention, I also game while I work (I'm the boss), so many times I'll have a window of CivV or some other game running as well. At least with Modern Mix Windows8 is now an option for me. Prior to that, I was not going to "upgrade" to Win8. My plan was to go back to building computers and installing W

Seeing as these are announcements with regards to their Dev Investment Fund, I highly doubt that this will be GalCiv3. No way I see them farming that out. Not to say that GalCiv3 couldn't be announced this year, just won't have anything to do with this article. IMO anyway. Also, I do hope they announce it also, love to see some space action, updated!

Frogboy, I haven't seen an archer webbed yet, but I still see them trying to beguile my archers. Anyway you can make beguile work on archers as well? (Randomly attack any unit)

And it gets much colder and snowier as you go north and west from there. Glad you got your camp problem figured out.
This is a dumb question I am afraid, but I have bought Fallen enchantress legendary heroes on Steam, is there any way for me to get the yet unreleased 0.80 beta? Would it be feasable to add unreleased betaversion as "DLCs" on steam?
The "unreleased" means it is not released at all on Steam. When it changes to released Steam will automatically download it. This changelog is evolving as they add

Eventually they stop producing units, so you can just disband them as they pop for now. Not sure if you can raze the camps once they are already built. I'm pretty sure you can do so beforehand.
Okay just checked: in the design screen it says cost of a simple horse unit is one horse. I designed one and it shows up in my Train screen. I just can't see the pre-designed ones (yet?) for now. I'm okay with this. Just a learning process, which I like.
Sounds like you may be short of some other resource possibly for the pre-designed unit, maybe iron or crystal.

Ctrl+F5 wasn't reloading completely in Firefox. Had to hold down Ctrl and click the reload button for a good reload. Now everything is swell on this computer as well.

Forcing the player to keep pushing tab every turn to check what needs attention is what you'd expect from a 1990's game. [They already have this. The TURN button turns yellow].
Don't forget the little "Zzzzz" in the city list as well.
