Old, old topic I know! Just confirming that razing a city near the Imperium wildlands still fixes the problem in FE:LH as well.

They definitely made some changes at some point. I was updating my account a while back and it wouldn't "take" either due to some similar error. My username was "Leo in WI" which was working fine right up til I changed it in the last couple weeks. Forget what else I was trying to change but it wouldn't stick due to the spaces in that former username I believe. Obviously no spaces in this current username, so I wouldn't run into that same problem again, but now I don't remember
Ok, I do not mind the name they could even call it something like "Smurf", marketing wise it makes sense to give it, a badass name like Spartan
I'm guessing they were going for less of the badass and more of the "stripped down, plain, utilitarian" meaning.
Windows Vista Nothing—you must boot from media and perform a clean install
That, is some great news. Glad to see a little breaking away from some older ties.
Steam is the only option (at least here in the US, not sure about worldwide.) It doesn't use SeuROM, just steamworks. The only "DRM" stardock puts on is a registration/activation. Which is basically just entering the same credentials you are using to post on these boards. That activates or creates some file for the program to check for, and voila, you are up and running. You'll only need to do this upon the first run with a new installation, you won't see this every time you go to
Isn't there some system in place where once one of those calculations misses, the "attack" is over? Or am I thinking of another game entirely. I'm playing too many at once right now ;) _________ Poster formerly known as Leo_In_WI
Basically, the problem here is simultaneous turns. All units move at the same time. Because humans are slow, the effect is that everyone else moves at once and the humans at another time.
That is what I've always thought the problem was. Good to hear that confirmed. Hopefully you guys can figure out a solution to this at some point. _________ Poster formerly known as Leo_In_WI
Think Brad said they are in during the last dev stream. Plus they were in one of his custom .exe releases a few weeks ago, and it seemed in decent shape then. _________ Poster formerly known as Leo_In_WI
I'm with you, just submitted something similar in the last week or two. It was an AI and a monster army parked on top of each other in strategic. Although, I also often see a monster chasing an AI pioneer in circles with what seems like no chance to catch it, as they are both moving at the same time.
If Nvidia had invented it, AMD wouldn't be using it. AMD are very clever to come up with the "anybody can use it" approach, as if Nvidia would ever consider it. I don't blame nvidia for not using it, it would be suicide in a market with two competitors for one to admit the other did something great.
Not only that, there are bound to be architecture differences that prevent the use, without modif
Intel users don't count since they don't have a graphicscard.
You'll notice I didn't say intel users, I said intel/nvidia users. I believe they have graphics cards.
And Mantle already has the distinct advantage of not being a Windows 10 exclusive.
And the disadvantage being it is AMD only. There are a *LOT* of intel/nvidia users out there that will be unaffected by Mantle.
That's a good looking mouse. Hope they make a wired version of the same thing, may give it a shot, matter of fact I'll probably head to the website and look around as soon as I'm done replying here. Been using the G5 mice for a long time now and love them, Logitech has been my "go to" for mice for a long time now. Any chance the Logitech software has returned "minimize window" as a programmable option yet with Windows 8.1? Found a way to minimize all, but I really miss the
Sorry for the question, but I did not find a clear answer in the wiki. This is about the leaders DLC. If the DLC is bought, is it a problem for Children of the Storm or it would be a problem only if I used a custom leader from a vanilla faction within your mod?
You can pretty easily turn off the Leaders DLC while playing this with CoS. Steam options let you set whether or not you use each DLC on the game. Go to your lib
Get an Epic army yourself: Make sure all 9 slots are filled with max size units. Make sure those units are all upgraded to the best weapons/armor. After assembling the right team: Cast some buff spells on your units if possible pre-battle. Look through your spell list Cast some spells against the enemy before entering battle, freeze is always a good one, lowers their initiative. Can cast a couple attack spells from strategic as well.
Definitely agree the strategic is *much* more important. Thanks for the tips on the dead. May just give that a try and see how it goes.
Now that I've written this post, I'm thinking of a couple other things.... -Monster armies/units will still chase AI pioneers around in circles as they seem to still move at the same time, so the monster can never catch them. Don't see that as often with AI armies, but with pioneers, all the time. - I need to turn off the undead DLC unless I am going to play as the dead, as the AI still is not competent at that. Any chan
AI and monsters are still stacking, I clicked on the armies one at a time and took a screen shot. Will include save game of these current stacked armies: Also seeing AI units stil
Thanks for the quick hotfix Yarlen, and for the shoutout (I'm BlackSmokeDMax there) on Steam! :)
Same issue here, tried editing the file, and (at least without starting a new game), this did not work. I have however discovered you can auto resolve the fights successfully, so if you can sneak through using that, it might help somebody. Thanks Primal, will give that a try! Stardock, hot fix this in please??
Yep, not too much longer.
Yay!
That would probably be unlikely as we don't like to release something right before a holiday because if something was to go wrong it's difficult to get people together.
Except for the DLC today??? Hint, Hint! Release! :)
In FE units would get stuck behind others, in LH and now in SK (I think also in SK) units can walk through each other. This pretty much alleviates that problem.
