You don't need a seriously leveled sov to take down Ophidians, I do it often with some magic and some spearmen backing up my sov. But sounds like you just got dealt a bad hand by the RMG
Bobofett
Seems to mostly happen when trying to attack a lair with multiple stacks present on it, able to get out of it by clicking auto explore
No use in alienating some players, it should be an option in the game setup
I may have exaggerated the 200 I don't recall but I know it's over 100, but I think a better solution is nerfing spell damage bonus abilities
Yes even with it being a chance of finding the staff it is still ridiculously overpowered, my Magnar is now doing 200 damage to all enemies for free
Hmm I need to pay more attention to the attack calculations, but I'm pretty sure it asn't showing me the green or red text indicating effectiveness when using those weapons. I'll have to go back and check
Same here, had to walk to there cities to initiate contact
They need trade goods and housing as in MoM
You're right the axes as well as other melee weapons with elemental damage do have both types, then I wonder if the elemental damage is negated but the regular damage goes through? Also IU'm not seeing the special fire attack effect for weapons with fire, not sure how that works exatly. Anyway that's just some minor musings, the first part is really the more important issue.
The AI seems to have a weird issue with elemental attacks and resistances. For example in my current game I have been fighting ice mages, I have an Ice elemental in my army and the mages for some reason target it exclusively despite that it's completely immune to their attacks. And on the subject of elemental attacks, I'm having a difficult time understanding how they actually work for damage applied. For an attack to be elemental does the weapon have to be
ANd whats up with beaches? It kinda bugs me that the whole world is one giant raised terrain.

How can an unreleased game be called a hit
Capitar has access to the white horses, but they aren't a selectable faction by default
Eh not to be picky but not liking the names in Beta 5, They're a bit too small and now are right on top of the city making it hard to see them. \
How much kiting and out manuvwring of the enemy do you do? I wonder if your strategies would work if there was a turn limit on battles
Starting at what level? Because I've gotten cities to level 2 and no changes
Yeah they need to work on this in general, when I kick the ai out of my territory they often end up behind my territory rather than back the way they came, makes settin up outposts at choke points kinda pointless
Maybe I misunderstood the changelig but where are the city graphics reflected? On the regular map? The cloth map? The medallions?
Just a couple things I noticed from the patch notes that don't seem to be affecting my game, city tiles seem to be unchanged, weapon effects for fire and ice don't seem to appear. But the new fonts do look sweet
Yes!!! Right in time for my lunch break
You guys. Eed more patience its only around moon right now in the states
And get we get some bridges over those rivers please!
Wait a couple hundred turns? Well yeah I would think the ai would have expanded, I seem to have the oppisite problem I can spread easily and as I scout I'm amazed by all the really good spots still available even when close to the ai
