I was having this issue too but my units didn't die they were just unable to participate in combat
Bobofett
Funny how he uses Age of Wonders as his prime comparison, I always found that series to be extremely bland.
The user scores on metacritic are as useful as nipples on a breastplate

I voted good, and can't wait to see what the next couple patches bring. But it's a bit disconcerting to see the same bugs remaining in each update.
I've never understood how this makes that much of a difference. And I too like the challenge of adapting to different starting areas. Keeps things interesting
Yeah not looking like it's possible, oh well.
Is it hardcoded? Am I just going to have to live with it? I can't figure out how to change it in the coreresources or cityesourcedefs files

Re they smart enough to build fortify and armory improvements? Those effect cites so it is'nt completely useless
Poor mites, too sickly to live
Do monsters even attack outposts? I've never seen it
I've had something similar happen where a SoV I defeated in battle retreated to a city I had just conquered the same turn
Also say what you will about CIV V but its hard to argue against the elegance and ease of use of its UI, something that FE needs more work on
Ugh I keep forgetting this game will have a campaign. It saddens me to think of the time and effort that is spent on the campaign that could instead be used on the core game.
Strange they aren't immune to attack magic, wonder if it's a bug
Already been noted and addressed in the next patch
