Of course, having an AI that can win without cheating is going to be a nice change too.
Hopefully the AI will be decent enough...however I don't think that it's possible to create an AI, which is able to beat a good player. We shall see.
Quoting endofdayz, reply 11 i remember this guy. he comes back every month or so, complains because EWoM isn't kings bounty, then leaves when his arguments are easily obliterated... Only to stalk back again in a month or two. HORTZ! But honestly, he isn't complaining about animations, so I doubt it's him.
Seriously, where is Hortz, when we need him to say

Well how about freein' up a comped Elemental game or some Karma?!
I bought a copy of EWoM for you gave you Karma, because this was a

[e digicons][/e]
Now, I understand that people want the game to come out on August 24th (the scheduled release day). I very much want this too. But we’ve been working on this game for a long time and we
Champions They must be able to lvl when they do their job. Like a healer heals, inventor invents (duh!) This is one area in which Age of Wonders failed miserably. Heroes could only get XP from the killing blow. So a spellcasting hero that healed and buffed didn't get a single point of XP....
Agreed.
One example: Recruitable NPCs were not in the original design. That came from the forums. The original battle system didn't include morale. We originally railed against having different types of damage (fire damage, pierce damage, etc.) but now every weapon includes its damage type. There's just so much stuff that got put on the list and has gotten into the game.
I like this! [e digicons][/e] This
sry but can i ask why? Retail shelf space has to be reserved in advance, and the holiday release season is very busy (and thus either much more expensive or requiring even further advance reservation).
Understandable.

The .xml files are located @ -> Users\All Users\Stardock\Emelental - War of Magic\Temp\English\ ..on Vista at least. :) You can find the CoreTechs.xml file there as well. If you have XP, just search for that file, and you will find the directory what you are looking for.

It's been mentioned in a couple of dev journals now that if the game is delayed, the
