first game i did a small normal difficulty with default settings. I had a good start but the NPCs took all the quests.
I understand that xp is equally split up but a user should never run out of content, or they need to give fighting enemy armies more xp. And the end-game loot is pretty sissy.
I just finished my first game on .95 (well i did not finish but i can any sec since the AI has one city) I think the game is much better but I am not loving the end game. I have defeated every creature on the map besides the epic quests and my sovereign is only lvl 5. This is very detrimental because, I have conquered the entire map minus one city which will go down as soon as i cross the border basically. And now i have nothing to do. I have a city
they either need to get rid of this or they need to make spells to get this back, early monster attacks are killing me, it would be one thing if i just had to rebuild city but now i cant because of how the game is. Maybe a spell of restoration like the old one for the sovereign, but this one just restores land to its potential
no you can win by quests i did it last night you do the dragon statue quests and you fight that dragon born guy.
thats kinda lame cause the dragon quests get you the ability to fight him so its just wasted map i guess :(

How does one enter this crater?, can't seem to get the gate open or lower the mountains around it and there is no quest pop up that i can find.
not sure if anyone esle has had this happen but when i fight this one certain spawn (troll shaman army) my capital dissapers of the map. the unitas that were in it are still there but the city ceases to exisit. i lose influence and income so its not a graphical error its just gone. it has nothing to do with turn because i loaded an auto save city is back and i have played more than 50 turns without my city dissapering and its not combat either
I must say FE is making a great impression so far. I got two hours of sleep because of it last nigh :) and i did not want to go to sleep when i did. Big win on the champion progression and inventory it is so much better. champions feel like champions and loot actually feels like loot. the world is much more alive and scary a drake army has a spawn point close to my capital and trying to sneak by it is scary. i have not unfortunatly gotten to spend much time yet with the armies as there was ve

I am still getting this issue too, it is not happening as much but still happening, it would not be that big of a deal if it did not take till a lvl 5 city to get more than one mana regen per turn. Seriously make it regen in % not in set numbers.
that would also make it 25% more expensive 3 essence is one lvl, and then once you get into high tech lvls it becomes less important (most games i have over 40)
Happened to me too, Spouse and fire giant all had no manna at end of tac battles
The bald gene does skip a generation so maybe your folks are bald, it normally comes from the mother's side too, check your spouses parents first. ;D
In the game i am playing on every character but my sovereign their manna is getting reset to 0 after every battle. And they are not using any abilities. My spouse had 22 manna then i had a battle used one flame dart (2 manna) and the next turn she had none. Happened to my fire giant and my son.
So I am a little frustrated with the starting locations in this game. I can play on a huge map with one other player and he will find me in under 20 turns, and he will have started about that far from me. Please make us start farther away, with how close we start it is way too easy to to rush a attack spell and take their capital.

Oh my word the animations take so long. Get about 5 archer troops and you will be in tac battle for 10 minutes. Let us speed up the animations plz
I have seen wild wargs for the empire, one of my cites has 3 of them nearby
don't forget you have toes too make a 20 ring limit that would be awesome.
15 attack, 10 everything else besides 15 intelligence and 18 essence. All i did was spam spells on the tough enemies, killed the 2 tough ones in the first turn. then just went in sword swinging. I had really good armor and a great sword so I was great. My sovereign had a combat ratting of 156 by himself and they had a rating of 146 i think. Fighting 146 for a 950 unit is not that great you know? If should be at least half the 950. </
It is turn based not initiative based like Heroes so that is unnecessary just click on the unit you want to use. I would love to see: Counter-attacks Unit Abilities (flight for dragons, multiple attacks, a cone of attack, that kind of stuff) Stronger Enemies (not monsters AI opponents) A greater emphasis on defense. Right now without counter-attacks there is no reason to waist money on armor as long as you can
I don't know what is doing it but my game crashed and when i opened task-manager the game was using over 2 gigs of ram never seen a game run that much ram before and the old versions did not get close to this. I think it might be that the game does not stop siming the other stuff while in tac battles. One turn i moved on a quest with my last move, the turn auto ended, I finished reasearch/spell and something else i forget what. But the game proceeded to go to the quest
