Also is it just my games or does the AI build horrible units? They build hordes of peasants for my sovereign to cut down one at a time.

I agree there is no reason to make a unit have defense really. Just make massive amounts of attack damage and speed and you are good. Counter attack is a great idea. It seems very simple to me, i mean why do they not already counter attack,

So I must say, this is the first of the beta that i have been excited for. It is really starting to feel like a game it is much more intuitive and engaging. I did the dragon quest and once I finished i had a "oh man" moment. Once you complete this quest you get a Red Dragon to join you. This thing is massive too. It has 100 attack and 150 defense with a combat speed of 8. It is fantastically awesome. If you have realistic scale on the thing dwarfs your sovereign by like 50 feet. And i

use the mouse wheel it will focus on pointer, kinda annoying but it works

figured it out, i had to go into the file and actually use the elemental.exe I got a huge dragon now and it has over 900 combat rating [e digicons]:grin:[/e]

so i tried uninstalling the game and impulse and I am still getting the failed to download data. I don't have any firewalls up.

I had the same problem with 3a and all i had to do was uninstall impulse and re-install but this time no dice. I am going to try deleting the game and redownloading

I have a city right by the water with a beach right next to it, and cant build a harbor. Also can't summon a ship. I got a crash to desktop when i tried to summon it.

I played 8 game and walked around for a very long time without finding anything more than some wheat and wild flowers then i started this game. Now I'm not complaining cause it is awesome for a city i think my biggest issue is going to be having enough building space to incorporate all these into 1 city. I like jack's idea alot. Give us a means to get more essence other than one a lvl and we will be happy. I think we may also be jumping the gun as they may have just not added the buildings necessary to regen essence or to have a higher pool. I could see it now Wizard's Tower : adds .05 essence every turn your sovereign is garrisoned in the city it is in. limit one per kingdom, could be a magic research.
