Our store is not matching the Steam sales as the Steam sales are already providing a big value for either existing customers or first-time buyers of FE, LH.
Thanks for the reply, an answer was all I was looking for. I don't agree that there's no penalty since I don't have the option of moving the game to Steam, but that's just the way it is. I was upset by the sil
I asked this question in the original Steam sale thread but it was locked without an answer so I will try again here. Why are the original FE owners that got their copy from Stardock before they moved the game to Steam being penalized? Steam FE owners get to purchase LH for $9.99 on sale but Stardock FE owners have to pay $13.59. Rather than a response to the question, we instead get a day of silence followed by a statement that doesn't ev
Do you have FE on Steam?

No, as I mentioned earlier in the thread, I have the FE version that came directly from Stardock. Does that mean I can't get the discount?
Ok, the purchase issue is fixed. If you own FE, then you will be able to purchase Legendary Heroes for $9.99 which is cheaper than what the daily sale would be.
I own FE and I am not able to purchase it for $9.99. I own FE but not through Steam since I got it directly from Stardock. Does that mean that I am not going to be able to get the FE owner discount on the Steam sale if I buy LH?
This is something I had wanted to do, create new tiles for stamps and new quests using the Quest Creator/Quest Wizard, but the documentation for creating such things and getting them added to the vanilla game is practically non-existant. I wanted to create some really silly type of quests for my own enjoyment, but until someone puts out a good tutorial or video, I'm stuck waiting.
I think this pretty much applies for all FE

I realize this has been a low priority for them and I understand why. I'm not upset by it. My observation from being involved with many modding communities for other games is that
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with the modding tools in their current state. I hope the situtation improves. If it doesn't then the FE modding future doesn't look so good.

This probably belongs in the modding section but I would also like to know the answer to this. I also have spent a lot of time in the map builder tool trying to figure out how to add the essence, grain and material resources to a tile so that it can be settled. One thing's for sure, you cannot do it using the GUI tools provided. The only thing I can think of is that it is some undocumented key/mouse combination. How the heck are we supposed to figure this stuff out? Why release to
Brad, Kael, any chance you can post for the modders the most up to date copy of this whenever you release new patches that affect the XML?
I would like t be able to check the state of a champion, sovereign or faction to see if they are dead/defeated. I would also like to be able to check their location on the map. I'd like to be able to dynamically spawn an object on the map at a specific location based on the result of another event. I'd like a mod to be able to call and display the line graph stats that are now only displayed at the end of the game.
Derek, will we modders need to manually add the new Iru Elixir to the spreadsheet editor that you released the other day?
Quoting MxM111, reply 13I honestly think that Warlock - Master of the Arcane is better. It actually achieves what this game was trying to do - interesting combat, the impression that group of heroes goes as company and fights against all odds, and so on. I second this opinion. In FE, there is obviously a lot of effort, and I applaud that, but there are better games out there.
I love Warlock, i
At the end of the game you get a nice set of line graphs comparing your empire to the other factions complete with tabs showing the different variables. It's very nice. Historically, a lot of other games in this genre have also provided graphs like this. Many of these games made the comparison graphs accessable during the game and not just at the end of the game. Hence my modding question here: Would it be possible to mod the game to provide access to these graph
Yes that is correct. You might make sure your mouse is set to defaults.
Thanks, that was the problem. I have a Corsair M90 and the middle mouse button was assigned to something else. Whew, that was driving me crazy.
Are you sure? That's the very first thing I tried, it doesn't work. The mouse 3 roller scrolls in and out but click drag does nothing at all.
Okay, this is driving me crazy. When you open the tile editor (Builder's Forge) the default camera angle is top down looking from directly above. How do you change the camera angle so you can actually see what you're building? I know it can be done from looking at Brad's video the other day but he doesn't mention how to do it. I've tried everything I can think of, clicking and holding the middle mouse button, both mouse buttons, holding the right mouse button and d

I actually don't think I'd mind this if they dropped their equipment when you killed them. As it is, all the nice quest stuff is just gone into the void.
A follow up question, if I may - Strength and such is referenced here and there but I do not see this stat on champions. Could someone elaborate on this? The reason I mention it is that Destiny's Gift (100 mana spell) gives a boost to the 'base' stats - this sounds like str and such - but I cannot find out what effect it actually had. Any core mod should be able to go right into the mod folder once we get that done.
Okay, thanks, that makes sense. I think I'll wait for a bit then to see if they add that support.
We already have support for using different mods in different folders. Just don't put your stuff in the installation directory.
