haha, I just want to learn how to change 2 numbers for short term gaming. I don't know how to mod :( But somewhere in an XML or TXT/INI there has to be a line "stat_points_per_level= 1" LOL :)
kelceydamage
so true, but you can just smite her on the spot :) it's brutal but word spreads fast ingame that you are a cold blooded monster.
Lol, speaking of elementals, I never got a better spell then "summon minor X elemental". Where is my MAJOR elemental?
Well, I suppose women will want their haberdashery now too. But us men get to keep our finely trimmed mustaches! Hazaah!
Well that was the point to my 30 second fix... The devs could open 2 notepads and change one number to 3, and another to 5 and "voila" solved. Like a survivability hotfix :) This way you can spare a point for CON every level, or not :)
Also look how nicely spaced the units in the squads are, and the scale is great. good camera angle. I think the scale ingame is too big, and 12 units in a company look stupid all overlaped. Especially with horses, their heads are all in each others butt.
I was hoping it would grow in scale as it leveled, so I high level familiar would look formidable.
"That's not true, the Enchant weapon and armor spells are great as well." Everything in this game is +1-2 and yet every mechanic in this game is designed to disregard such low bonuses!? they need to make up their minds. 1.) Fix magic 2.) Lower damage across the board(mainly melee)<
Wow that image looks like an awesome game! Too bad it's not Elemental. The horses have armor, and the soldiers dont look cheesy. The lightning is not overly cartoonish, the dragon is cool, and the catapult is light-years ahead of the ingame design. I can't wait untill that game comes out :) Seriously, I'm not trying to troll. But I do think they had some great production models andthen randomly decided "the heck with it, this stuff is to good for a g
At least 3, but may be (2-4) random? I figure champions are aprox 1 third of the power level they need to be, without making regular troops useless. But some games I played my Champions nevey got past level 7 and if we only double the stat points it becomes level 14 which they are still too weak. I also like to play with Archer and Mage champions, not just fully armored Tank Champions. :)
Here we go: Upon leveling, Champions should receive 3-4 points and every point spent in CON should equal 5HP gain, not 3HP like it is now . So to simplify: Champion Level= +(3-4) stat points 1 point in CON= +5HP Thank you, throw out your rings! You are all welcome. [e digicons][/e]
How about 4-6 points on level up and 1 point in Con=5HP instead of 3 . problem solved! No more pockets full of rings needed. you're all welcome [e digicons][/e]
I second "Haberdahery"! and would like to add: Finely trimed mustaches.
Lets not forget the equipable "Arcane Blast/Magic Missile" spellbook that is basically a bow with particle effects , and allows us to give a mage a fitting default range attack , or even create a squad/company of Magi. Make be
I just want diversity in my heroes, instead of a bunch of guys that look and act the same. :) Most importantly I want a default ranged attack for mages.
Oh yeah, Ranged attack for mages is extra important if you think your mage looks weird in full heavy plate. :) Also I would settle for wands/staffs that can be enchanted, or added to the magic items tech tree. And A plus INT hat with a plus WIS robe. Perhaps even rideable mounts form the drastically empty summoning magic book.
Hi. Does anyone else out there wish they could have an equipable spellbook that gives a caster a basic Magic Missile/Arcane Bolt kind of default ranged attack? Also, better bows to be able to make a ranger hero. I'm just an old MOM fan, but I was seriously disapointed that all heroes were beurocrates :(. Legendary heroes should be differentiated by having mounts. Mounts should provide bonuses since they're retardedly rare in most games. +More mount types like b
