I still don't think that larger maps will use up too much memory. Even some of the most advanced games can run well. I run mount and blade warband with floris pack, with all kinds of enhanced graphics and run battles with 500 or more soldiers on the battlefield, if any of you are familiar with that then you will know what I mean. Does this game really require so much memory> I have 16gb of ram, a nvidia 580, an overclocked i7 920 (to 4ghz) I can't see this game killing my sys

This is just simply not true. I have a decent system but it isn't top of the line. I played the original Elemental with the map generator that was made by someone and I set it to the highest settings it could go. I played 800 turns on that map with absolutely no problems, no slow down. I can see problems with a real weak system but anyone with a decent amount of ram and a decent video card would most likely be fine.
Have played several games and not had this issue goon. Perhaps they aren't playing the game right. I use a lot of magic and that works for me.
This might be an issue that only affects created sovereigns because some people have reported it working correctly, but it is definitely not working in my game. The shard seem to allow only a max amount of summonables, which is normal but they do not respawn when dead. So if I have 3 fire shards, I will get the 3 burning wraith creatures but when they die, no new burning wraith creatures will spawn, it becomes a one time thing. However, if I have 3 burning wraiths, save my game and then
its still a bug. You can get tons of free money because of it. That makes it a bug. Hopefully they will fix it or the 3 turn issue
It is possible to rush production on some things and GAIN money. For example, I was building a barracks and there was one turn left, I decided to rush it and it said -246 gold to rush. When I rushed it, I gained 246 gold. I have been able to do this with other stuff too.
I am not having any of the issues you are except for maybe water taking up too much space.
Whenever I load up a save game, the shards start summoning more monsters but if I do not load up a new game, they will stick to whatever the limit is, so if it is a 3 limit, then it sticks to it but if I then load up a save game, it will summon 3 more.
I think spells which could be cast that buff only summonses would be cool.
I am thinking there is something which affects how many you can have at one time because my shards nowi say 3 is the max. At one time they definitely said 1, so perhaps your level or some skill or technology affects it. I wish they would tell us these things.
whoa weird. I just loaded up my save from yesterday and the shards now say 10 turns until next summonable creature, weird. Guess they do respawn, don't get it.
No, they are definitely not summoning more. I have a few of every shard in my game and it summons only one. The description on the shard says MAX 1 ALLOWED summon monster. If yours are summoning more then it must be a bug in your game because the description specifically says max allowed 1. If you have more it is because you built another shard.
You can't raze shards at all. I think you only get a monster when building a new shard.
Yeah it is awesome getting a creature from the shards but you only get one per shard and once it is killed, it never respawns back which I think is lame. It is fine only being able to have one per shard, but when it dies, the shard should respawn a new one. It isn't like they are so powerful, they aren't that strong. It would make the skill much more useful this way. As it is right now, it is weak.
Not exactly true. When talking about spells that are limited to territory. The current mechanics allow you to charge a city and avoid any of these spells, even more likely so since by the time these spells are available with a pool to cast them, armies are going to have 3x moves and access to roads to the city. There would be no chance to cast them. And other spells effectively have a limit of casts per turn. Quite often this limit co
NEED IT NOW
There is a problem with this which I think maybe you guys aren't realizing. If you have to siege a town for 1 or 2 turns it would be way too easy to repulse the enemies with certain spells. If you are a fire mage and have those fire spells that attack armies on the map, do you know how much damage you could do in 1 or 2 extra turns with those fire spells? I forgot what it is called but if you could hit them with it 2 or 3 times before they can attack your city, they are pretty much done f
I have the imperium wildlands in my game and as far as I can tell, I have killed everything in it. There was no boss, is there even a boss in this wildland>>> I have killed everything and can't seem to claim it>>>

I have seen this happen myself a few times in the same game.
I like the idea of having "more", but I hope that doesn't mean shortchanging 32-bit players of a complete game experience... I would rather see 64-bit features in the form of extended settings options than vastly different content. However I think going forward it will make the most sense to just require 64-bit and design whole games with those capabilities in mind.
Thankfully, you're in the minority. I vo
Look, the game is still in BETA. I am sure that they will clean up stuff, keep asking and letting them know what will be helpful so that they can implement it. I think a lot of those things may be fleshed out during the beta process though. There are many things that need to be fixed, I have seen plenty of errors in descriptions and such for various things.
You can use wargs as kingdom, so no issue there. I honestly have not had any trouble with maps and starting positions. Also, you are talking about bonuses to grain, well you DO have grain all around you, that is the food number when you start your city. Those tiles have grain, the grain is one of the numbers shown when starting your city.
I see, well I misunderstood then.
