I keep noticing that the monsters are not attacking the AI cities. I understand from frogboy's post that the monsters are attacking the AI and they may be attacking them out on the field sometimes but I see them avoiding the AI often. I have a screenshot of a giant river slag sitting right next to an AI city and NOT attacking. This has been like this for like 50 turns or more. I hope you don't mean basic walls as in hedge walls, I hate hedge walls. I see no reason why any city can't have stone walls, so i disagree. Your fortresses will still be the bulwark of your military as they are the only ones that can build all of those buildings which buff armies. Like more trained levels and bonuses to defense and accuracy etc. Every town should be able to have walls though. Or they could do something like Conclaves get magic walls that
Maybe it is just me, but I think it is stupid that only fortress towns get walls. It shouldn't matter what kind of town it is, you should be able to build walls. Maybe the walls could look different depending on what kind of town is and maybe the defenses could be different values but I can't stand seeing my other towns without walls :( Any way to mod this>
I don't mind it being a spell, but a lvl 5 Earth spell, as it is now, is too much. I also think it should be a general or researchable spell rather then a Earth spell because if you don't have Earth, you can never do it.
The largest size maps should be optimized. I also think it would be best for you to play larger maps to figure out the memory issues with them so that we can all play the size map we want without the slow downs in the later game..

No, you can easily see how much cash a faction has, and it is not cash. Rushing a unit requires a lot of money, just to rush one unit for me is over 200 gold and that is a weak unit. I have a fortress city with a command post so I know what they can produce. I also have the same amount of cities. My population is larger and my cities are more advanced. 2 of his cities don't have anything in them yet actually. I have easily taken out 30 unites or more (some being juggernauts) with a dozen
normal difficulty and the armies are actually better then my troops, with higher attack and similar defense. I was only able to start competing because i could built 5 unit soldiers and theirs were 3 unit soldiers. I don't mean stack units im talking about the 5 man groups or 3 man groups.
I am curious because in my game, Yithril has 5 cities, of which one I just conquered, and they seem to be hitting me with army after army, of 5 or 6 units. I am trying to produce armies in a few of my cities and there is no way I am able to keep up. It is almost like every couple of turns they hit me with a fully stacked new army. I took the city, then lost it because they hit me with like 3 armies, of which 2 I destroyed. Then I fall back to the capitol and a few turns later 4 full stack arm

The game really isn't that difficult. I have had no real trouble with monsters. I am not complaining the game is easy as I play on normal settings, not challenging or ridiculous, but the monsters are hardly a problem and I find the enemy AI to be decent. They are putting up a good fight. There may be times when powerful monsters come rampaging, you got unlucky that time. This isn't something that always happens. Your not getting it, different levels of cities gives you access to different buildings which give more bonuses to different things. You can't get to those levels without the right population. The way you are saying it is that any city can reach any level and this is just not the way it is supposed to be and you are simplifying something that doesn't need it. I think the way it is now is fine.

Sorry but XP users are holding the market back. The fact that games need to be made to be compatible with 32 bit operating systems is limited what companies are capable of creating for new games. I know it is still a beta, but I can't even run a large map in FE without my game starting to run out of memory, forget about mods and such in the future. pretty sure you can see essence in the city menu. You are right about somehting telling you what kind of city it is though. There is no way to know if it is a fortress town or the other 2 things. We really need that in the city menu.
Probably shouldn't be that easy but if i remember correctly, Delin breaks up into smaller fire elementals and snake things or something but I think that is only if you are in battle with him.
I do not want manual placement to be taken out. It is not an exploit. If you think it is DON'T USE IT. It really is that simple, but I have no problem with them fixing auto placement to make it better and leaving manual placement.
Guess still has severe memory issues. I am playing a large map with all factions including the one I made, so 9. I am mid game right now and it is getting slow and sluggish. A few battles have been slow as well, seemed to happen when I minimized and went back into game, I think. I would just quit the game and go back in and it was okay. Just tried to save and it got stuck, stayed frozen at a blank background screen. Tis a shame because

yes those soldiers are all different, what are you talking about>> You have both male and female, tons of different armor types, weapon types, archers, swordsman, men with shields, axes, pikes, all different kinds of armors and colored armors. They also have varying levels so each level of soldier looks different and has a different weapon. They all also have different faces, etc. Plus also different kinds of horses, etc. If you do not know about the game, you shouldn't commen
