The wandering monsters are still way too strong in 7b... On normal world, normal difficulty, sparse monsters... I get hordes of ogres and trolls near my starting location... The monsters also seem to be taking a toll on the AI as well... Another thing is there's ALOT more Champions being spawned all over the map and a lot of high level ones near my starting location..
I'm not sure if I'm just missing it but is there a guide to editing the different XML files for creating new items, units, spells, etc...? I can get the basic premise of adding new content, but a guide to the different XML tags and scripting commands that are available to use would be helpful..
Great mod!!! Do you plan on adding more spells/summons at any point? I think the game definitely could use more magical diversity...

I sure hope they're not going to release (in 3 days) with the AI still unable to cast strategic damage spells effectively nearly 2 years after the release of WOM? In MOM as bad as the AI was, they used strategic level spells...
Can you mod all those new spells in and get the AI to use them, and use them effectively? I'm sure if it were that easy, Stardock would've done it...
Don't get me wrong the AI in MOM was horrible... With the unofficial patch it's a lot better.... MOM's spells were interesting and diverse, plus there were tons of them. Sure they were unbalanced but they sure were fun to cast. Why doesn't FE have more summon spells? Why doesn't FE have global enchantments? Item creation? Variable races? Sure you can say that FE isn't meant to be MOM, but come on in terms of depth it doesn&
Magical content is pretty much my concern when it comes to depth. Over 2 years after WOM and magic still isn't close to the level of MOM...
Someone mentioned financial reasons for this release. According to steam, FE isn't even in the top 100 top selling games. It's being outsold by political machine for Christ's sake. It seems to me that's Stardock is losing money hand over fist on the development of this game and had it not been for the fact that Stardock doesn't rely on it's game division for its primary source of revenue than things would be much worse. High 70s... if I had to guess I'd say 77 or so.... I think some of FE's design decisions will irk some reviewers (such as the way research is handled). I still believe the different game systems feel a bit disjointed and the balancing is not quite there. Also magic is STILL behind MOM in terms of spell diversity...
I'd just like to comment on the prospect of a Doctor Who mod for Elemental (and please, it's "Doctor Who" not "Dr. Who" ;) As an obsessed fan of the series and someone who's seen every episode from 1963 to today I have to say that I'd love to see you eventually complete this mod. Thanks for coming clean about the Elemental launch. I really wish though that you would just admit though that the beta testers who kept advising you to delay the game were right. I realize the whole retail shelf space thing but wouldnt it have been better just to wait the six months and in the mean time making Elemental the best it could be for release? Maybe you could have done an online only release in say November and release it to retail as an "enhanced edition" in Feb?

Any update from the Stardock guys on this one? This issue is keeping me (and many others) from playing this game because the framerate becomes unplayable after a while... Have you guys at least been able to reproduce this issue on one of your machines?
