Everyone is screaming about the online problems of SimCity, and many claime that the core game is great. Have we all forgotten the size of the cities. They are tiny, its not SimCity as we know it, even if the always online didnt have any problems.

Lets take a great single player classic, shrink it, make it multiplayer and always online. That is certainly a great idea.... I wish I could have been at that meeting. 1. There is no SimCity. Its SimSmallTown. I dont care about simulating every citizen. This is not the sims. I want a city that chockes on its own size and make me rethink. I want a city that is very difficult to construct due to money problems, traffic, unemployment and so on. From the videos that I
@Willie Sanderson - Warlords III = YES Warlords IV = FAIL. You will hardly find a more cheating AI than in Warlords IV.
Economic Left/Right: -0.38 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.36 Hm.... I am norwegian, and considered to be on the right side of the scale (my political party is even called Høyre(Right)). Well, there is no doubt that american politics is a lot further to the right than here in Norway.
I hate this kind of thing! When I play I like to set up the game in such a way that I will mostly fail and have to try again. Anything that taste of buy to win makes me sick. I want sandbox/skirmish/single player and not having to pay for pieces of the puzzle as I play. Just because microtransactions works for some games, it doesnt mean that everyone should jump the bandwagon.
Warlock: Master of the Arcane - GREAT UI, very good game CIV IV - the king of turn based gaming In beta and based on the great game (Eador: Genesis) http://www.snowbirdgames.com/eador/?lang=en If you didnt rule out sci-fi then I would say XCOM When you are ready for the most complex tbs and no longer care about graphics (just depth) then go for Dominions 3. Kings Bounty series - I love
You mean SimSuburb surely?
Maybe time to take away the unreleased tags?
I am hooked on Dom3 right now. Finally took the chance and bought it. Dom4 would be sooo sweet. They should NOT take away any functionality/micromanagement, BUT give us better tools to micromanage with. Better UI would help a lot. Like in Warlock: Master of the Arcane where I get buttons telling me what new research I have done, what units needs orders, messages from AI and so on.
@willie sanderson - There is randomness programmed into how critical, blindness and damage is calculated. That means using single examples dont not really give any meaning. A unit with a 1% hit rate (meeting the worlds best dodger) should hit every 100 times or thereabout. That one hit is not an example of how bad the random number generator is, but the result of how things work.
@salikgyula - please post the bugs in the bugs forum with all the relevant files. Stardock will fix :)
Just get it made :) Same game, better UI, better graphics. How hard can it be. Get it on kickstarter, give it to Stardock, just get it done!
I would buy Dom 4 in a heartbeat. Dom 3 is fantastic!
Dominions 3 :P
Since its based on Eador:Genesis, which is GREAT, expect this game to rock! I just wish someone did the same to Dominions 3 :)
There is no MOO3 - never was uberlicker
its on my radar. I will buy if reviews (from users) are ok.
Total Annihilation is still the best RTS ever made!
I am in :)
