I supported both. I have now supported 18 Kickstarter games and I am looking for a support group to make me stop...

The units you have must fight monsters all the time and level up. Fight only battles you will win with hardly any losses. Try Umber ;)
This was a big discussion a while back and we ended on one queue. I agree with that.
I love this event. Plz dont tone it down :)
@StarkeRealm - You misunderstand 6. You can upgrade weapon, but you CANNOT upgrade a group from 3 to 5 members when the tech comes.
SimCity ruined, Heroes of Might and Magic ruined, M&M X ? I see a pattern here. Triple A games are not for the old school players any more (XCOM a decent exception). I hold more faith in Kickstarter games like StarDrive (the new Master of Orion II in my opinion), Battle for Chronos (the new Battle Isle), Planetary Annihilation (the new Total Annihilation) and the list goes on.
I reloaded the savegame and I could move again. My hero unit had teleported to the square where the firelord killed the snakes. Well, I will play on. Great game this!
I also like the new stuff. I just had a bug where a firelord killed another group of wildlife (the crystal snakes). Would be super if some of the wildlife started to level up by killing eachother once in a while. :)
The title says it all. There is a stone "temple" of sorts and it does not hinder movement. I had to kill an ogre "inside" it.
I have put a savegame in the link. I was moving about with a single hero and those blue snakes that gives crystal started following me. When I hit Turn they moved to one square away from me. Then a fire lord attacked and killed them. Wow, thats cool, was my first reaction. Wildlife going at eachother. Then I discovered that none of my units would move anymore and the game was ruined :(
Just kill em you weaklings. No wonder they had to remove the Umber sovereign. He would have eaten you mortal meat pies.

Stop calling your heroes Chuck Norris :p
This forces you to change tactics/army and that is not a bad thing :)
Umber so übercool that they had to remove them or all the other races ;) Not really, but BRING UMBER BACK!
The size of the cities is proof enough. I dont see why people can enjoy such a limited "City"
As someone who's deepest 4x experiences he's ever really enjoyed have been Sins of a Solar Empire and the first Sword of the Stars and their expansions and mods, do you guys think I would enjoy this game?
I think you will enjoy it. Its not extremely complex (on the surface at least). You can just throw yourself in there and play. After a while you will have to learn more deep stuff, but its like playing CIV in tha
I love this SimCity and it's release. It's like a beautiful soap opera; every day when I get home there's a new installment full with 'Called it's and 'Oh no they didn't's waiting for me. I'm just so glad I didn't buy it, I'll stick to SC4 for the time being.
I am getting to the point where all this entertainment is bugging my conscience. EA has given me two weeks of
StarDrive is actually the only known medicine against the FE Beta withdrawal syndrome. StarDrive is just fantastic. I cannot believe it comes from a guy who got $17 000 on Kickstarter in 2011. Must be one REALLY good programmer there. He has take great things from MOO II and added to it. I have bought and forgot so many space 4x games the last decade, but this really is the new MOO game for me.
For all of the MOO II lovers, check out StarDrive (the beta is on Steam). Lots of MOO II influence and a great game in the making. Hyperspace Flux, Planet anomalies, Bultrathi (now called Kulrathi or something). I have played the beta a little yesterday and it is very promising. There are lets play vids on youtube (from the master Das himself).
I bought it and played a couple of hours yesterday(beta), I have also watched Das lets play series on youtube. This game is HEAVILY inspired by MOO II. You can see and feel it everywhere. That is a great thing. I have not found a space game to suit me in years, but this one could be it. I cannot believe that this gem comes from a tiny kickstarter of just a few thousand dollars in 2011.
1. CIV IV 2. Master of Orion II
There are several things directly from MOO II and that is not a bad thing. I just watched one episode on the net and saw The Bulrathi and The Hyperflux thingie (where you cannot travel fast)
I went out and bought it and already played over twelve hours worth so far. It's a fantastic game, and once the server issues clear up it'll be less about the anti DRM diatribe everyone's going on about and more about the actual content of the game.
You are not stressed about the small cities? Great for you :)
