These pics are obviously more or less first mock up to show their intent.

We have a few threads on this already. I am playing Dom 3 these days, and have preordered Dom 4 already. Just wish they did a kickstarter and used some money on graphics and UI design :)
Thanks for the feedback. I love 4x games and have tried EU 2 a while back. This series doesnt quite catch me for some reason. I kinda doubt this is on MOO III level. That game is my biggest gaming disappointment ever, EU IV cannot be even close even if they tried. EU IV will get tons of patches as usual for the series, and it will probably turn out to be an evolution of the last iteration that will please the hardcore fans :)
I am all in here. I liked EU quite a bit, though the strategic part was a bit weak
@Ellestar 1. 21 Euro is way less than than EU4 and TW:Rome II (I am in Norway) 2. The interface is improved quite a bit ( watch the vids on youtube) 3. Endgame performance is greatly improved they say. If you think about removing mircomanagement then thats another story :)
It seems to be an evolution where everything is just a little bit better. No reinventing the game here. I am happy with that. In a perfect world they would go kickstarter, get $500 000 and put it all into graphics :)
I just finally caved and got Dom 3 this spring. Its fantastic. Now I find that Dom 4 in almost upon us. It rather über I would say. Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4G-ThUi-v4Y&feature=youtu.be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJKkRrtjVQE&feature=youtu.be <p
I only wish the monsters were more aggressive in general. They are soooo tame nowadays...
I will not complain as long as Stardock continue to make strategy games. If you switch to MMO or microtransactions I will bring out the whipstick though :)
You want FE:LH and DLC. Nothing more. Its the end of the evolution (so far).
Maye I am a bit dense, but I havent noticed a lick of difference with the DLC. I remember back in beta when I got ShadowWorld spell. I loved it, although the monsters it spawned usually didnt kill my opponents as hoped. Is this still in the game? I play hard/expert, dense monsters and large maps. I wish there were more tough monsters and that the world was more dangerous. Players have complained and Stardock has tamed the world too much for my liking.
Dodge will save your life against those maulers... Umber with tame and some bears would be more than scary with no dodge :) Assuming there was multiplayer
Was this just released to steam. Something was downloaded anyways.
Spell Mastery is very important if you plan to use Tame to get monsters on your side :)
But Umber rocks though
Dont build cities close so that the city borders will activate the monsters.
Saving and reloading breaks balance, and invalids any complaints as far as I am concerned. Let people save and reload as much as they want, but please Stardock, dont change the game based on such playstyles.
If you want the world to level with you, try Oblivion. Honestly, the point of the game must be to attack those you can kill and learn for the mistakes you make. Its not unfair that there are tough guys to fight in this game.
Whiiii' thanks for keeping on improving
The world is not fair. Suck it up and improve your army before next time :)
+1 for changelog (I bought it already ofcourse)
@Campaginer - I will go for a PEBM if you dear ;)
I just bought Dom 3 some months ago. Its a gem. They should put dom 4 on kickstarter and use some extra money on graphics and UI :)
I never ever reload. Its like smoking. Just stop. Tell yourself that there is NO reload. Never negotiate with yourself (oh, I had such bad luck, just one reload). Only reasons for reload: 1. Game crashes 2. Serious misclick (your kid hits end-turn while you are opening a beer)
I backed - I am getting a serious Kickstarter addiction.....
