I havent gotten the Asus yet, as it has been very slow to arrive here in Norway. I have read a lot about it and it is on the top of my list to buy.

Nice. Are you watching how the AI levels his sov and fights the wild? There is a discussion about magic not being used in autocombat and that it could lead to AI steamrolling magical enemies.
That would have to be told to the user somehow, or you could think that you are producing badass units and it turns out they are crap cause you didnt notice you ran out of metal.
Good questions. Sounds like a great random event :d

I am playing a long game as Altar and the old problems are back. I have met Resoln, but cannot see the empire on the empire list. I have researched the same agricultural tech twice but it does not register. Its probably memory related or something? Do you need any more savegames with this problem, you have gotten several before.
They are not mutually exclusive so making money from loot and cities works fine for me. I dont get that much from loot anyways.
I am old school. Turn based is best. A tip for the old school players is the "new" Kings Bounty series. Its amazing and you can get it at almost no cost now.
But then I would need tons of magic to spare. My sov is a magician and I have tutelage and stuff on my heroes. I would soon run out of mana if I made Henchmen for the magic casting.
I still dont quite get the Henchmen. In my current game I have played a while and can easily make a group of 5 men riding on wargs using 20 attack swords. The Henchmen are nowhere near this quality. They were outperformed by my previous units with boar spear as well. I have 4 hero units and its enough.
There is a special resource you can build on to get influence. The Altar gets 50 per quest they finish and can build henchmen for 50 a piece. Not that I have really found any use for Henchmen
Would be nice to see a todo list, but I can understand why they dont show it. If one of the things on the list cannot be sorted, the whole forum would go mad :d
I have asked about a monster aggressiveness slider about 20 times already :d Something like: Docile - Gentle - Normal - Active - Nasty
Dont agree. I always have Charge on my units and will get in the mages face in the first round. In the latest changelog monsters gets more movement as well and that will give mages more problems. From the changelog: Increased moves for Cave Bears, Coastal Skaths, Drakes, Ebbon Wolves, Forest Drake, Great Wolf, Ice Warg, Escaped Juggernaut, Mire Skath, Naja, Ophidian, Pack Drake, Plaguestalker, Silt Skath and Umberdroths
Resoln - corrupt all shards, get the splitting demons, strong death magic and just win :)
That is just cool. No need to change that :d
yeah, its not the quest, its the prize :)
Just to derail this totally: Has anyone actually found a use for henchmen?
I dont play custom sovs, and if I did I would not make a super race. That is cause I like to fight against the odds and usually fail. Victory is then all the more sweet.
I like the quest that gives shadow world :) Although I never make any successful use of it, I still love to cast it and imagine that the monsters would kill that enemy city they are standing next to. It might be that the spell would work better in latest beta as I have noticed that monsters are more aggressive now (on Hard). The wild is more hostile in general and I love that. I play Altar and do lots of bought quests. Mainly for the exp, but sometimes I get a good
All races have their "overpowered" speciality. The Resoln death deamons, the Altar can buy quests and hyper level heroes, Tarth not being attacked by monsters +++ So, when all are overpowered, then none are :d
You have to move
Wargs are always cooler than Horses. I dont care about the stats :)
Title says it all. I have reported this with savegame about a week ago and its still in the game in the latest patch. It feels random, but now and again a quest tile doesnt trigger quests. Its the quests that you can buy for 50 each.
