If you're going to wait till later to get actual stats in than a nerf should have waited till that point as well. What? Who's crying? In all honesty I couldn't care less if he got nerfed or not. I don't play as him, and I have never had a problem beating him before.
Nor have I. But his nerf was 100% due
Quoting dakinston, reply 2 Quoting JagerJack, reply 1I think the reason he is in the middle is because the AI likes playing as him. Explain this further. Because the OP was referencing Pantheon statistics, in which the AI would only take over for player's whom left the game early. Said statistics can be found here. As the OP said, there is no objective data to support Erebus being nerfed. Erebus does not stand out in any category.<
The Karma system doesn't seem to sound all that useful IMO. Frogboy said about a week ago they were looking into a personal banlist in game. You ban them, they never join again so really, there's not a whole lot of sense fighting it. Use it or don't it doesnt really matter. Someone will make a working one similar to DotAs and it'll be a done deal. Whether it's in game or third party, its coming. Again, a personal banlist is just that, personal. It

If you're slick you can drop the comp before the game even starts and no one will notice. Now its a 7 player free for all but no one knows it but you. You then proceed to own everyone and laugh. They have a point =)

I don't want to be part of the community that rage quits or does any other number of things to be a shit player. Let me ask you a question. If you knew ahead of time that someone was likely to leave the first time they died would you leave them in the game or boot them before it started? If I knew ahead of time it wouldn't be due to a banlist. (I know i'm b

In a public game you absolutely can not rely on them, if you think you can you're smoking crack. Yes, you might get a good team mate, or your team mate might suck shit. But you can't just assume they're good or know what they're doing. More often than not 1 or more will have no idea what the hell is happening. You rely on yourself and only yourself and if i

I heard that 100+ bans are added every single day in DOTA banlist....
Man, when I was playing DotA heavily I probably added close to 100 a day myself. Banlists are just a personal list of players you never want to play with again for whatever reason you deem worthy. It's a local list so it's not like this person is going to be banned by the world unle

Erebus isn't as scary as some people seem to think. Snipe is useless outside of harassment. I've yet to find anything so completely bullshit I'd consider it overpowered. Things can be countered if you care to try. Erebus having no counter is a joke, everything has a counter, but its up to you to do it. People in these games don't take the right approach. I don't pick my hero until everyone else has, and I'll pick my hero to counter theirs. People just pick Zomgroflstomp
Think he means they're the equivalent of a level 2 or 3 demigod in their ability to tank. Not that they're used to fight level 2-3s =P
They're more an annoyance than anything, most heroes have to hit them a few times to kill them which slows them down i guess =P I have no idea what they're actually supposed to be doing.
I've yet to see the AI of any game be anything above crap. It's completely incapable of thinking on anywhere NEAR the level a person is. It doesn't evolve, it doesn't gain experience from past games. Once a player plays the AI a few times they know exactly how it'll react and then they use that knowledge to beat the piss out of it. The AI can never do that, in any game. Have you ever noticed in 90% of games the AI is a joke, and in the other 10% the only way to get it e

Got an issue with the patch. Not sure where to put it so, hopefully someone reads this. I turned the music off the second I launched the game. There's a good reason items in DotA aren't shareable anymore. Once a person leaves you can take their stuff with no problems but when they're in a game their items (outside of regen rings and silly stuff that's not an issue) don't work on other people. You also cant work together to build an item. You don't fully understand the implications of what this would allow for. Me and my friends used to rush a divine rapier (+200 damage, drops on the ground when you die and anyone can pick it up) ins
There's a difference between trying to attain teamwork and barking orders. When people are stressed out or feel like their message isn't being conveyed they'll start ordering people around. But at the beginning of the game it's not really needed. You can give a general direction for your game plan. "Lets try whatever" and generally people will pick up on it but when people start getting heated and yelling at team mates they're going to lose. It's hard not to get to that point sometimes but it
I've seen some decent players but I've yet to see anyone so good that they're playing on a different level. I don't think anyone is some sort of high skilled DG owning machine. There are no pro's there's just people. Maybe I just haven't run into a guru yet, but I'm more inclined to believe they don't exist at this point. If anyone is trying to say "I'm amazing, I'm the best player ever, follow me" they're full of shit.
